#detox day 2
I can definitely feel things working! 😂 another healthy day of eating coming up today. I still managed to consume 2500 calories yesterday but thanks to an intense football practice I burned over 5000 calories with over 27000 steps and 15 miles. Who says coaches don’t get a workout in too? After a sluggish start today I’m ready to go

della linea #dedicato , prodotti con solo grano Pugliese e trafilati al bronzo.
La trafilatura al bronzo permette alla superficie del prodotto finito di essere porosa e ruvida, che si presta quindi ad "acchiappare" meglio sughi e salse 😋.
🇬🇧 Spaghetti with cuttlefish ink, with fresh parsley and a sprinkling of chilli pepper 😋. If you have your fishmonger clean the fresh cuttlefish, the dish is beginner-proof 😁. We used spaghetti 🍝 @pasta_granoro of the #dedicato line, produced with only Pugliese wheat and bronze drawn. The bronze drawing allows the surface of the finished product to be porous and rough, which therefore lends itself to "catching" better sauces and sauces 😋.

Warning long post... I wanted to start my week off strong so I decided to do that by heading back to @crossfitsyracuse. I’ve been absent for several weeks for many reasons with the top reason just being anxiety. I do not know why but sometimes my body has been off and that makes me anxious. What does Carolyn do when she is anxious? She figures out how to keep achieving goals comfortably- like consistent easy runs.
Yesterday I decided that not going to CrossFit made me unhappy and it was time to try to come back.
I am not a serious crossfitter but honestly it can bring me as much happiness as a good run when I attend my 9:30 class. I’m a routine person and even if I’ve been a stranger I feel like I still belong. It’s just a wonderful community and it helps my running because every class forces me to do things that are uncomfortable and not my strength. But I believe these things make me stronger in every way- mentally and physically.
So today I came prepared to class to just do what my body was willing to do. 12 minutes of work felt hard!
But I was smart and surrounded by an amazing community of friends.
I’m so grateful to have CFS. They accept me, even with my crappy attendance and with the difficulty of life sometimes a place like that is the game changer.
So thank you to my CFS 9:30 peeps.
I did get a 60 minute run in today which felt so much easier than the 12 minute WOD 😂and that is very good.
I am tracking how I feel each day and have a doctor appointment in a month so we shall see.
On this Monday remember to surround yourself with those that will support you.
