The sun had set and the air cooled to an acceptable temperature. The rock I sat on radiated heat from the long cloudless day, and like a moth to a lantern, my eyes were fixated on the rising moon. There wasn’t anybody to share the moment with then, but a photo and a memory have once again served a purpose.

Little video I got today of a bullshark with a messed up pec fin coming in to check me out. This shark looks to be a survivor of a net, or a rope. You can see the scar around her body #divetoinspire 🦈 @sonyalpha#A7riii & @aquaticadigital

Forest Illumination- yesterday was an amazing shoot at my Lighting and Posing Workshop in the enchanting woods of Portland, Oregon.
Swipe to see the lighting for this image!
Day 2 is always fun because I tell the attendees to bring out their gear that they want me to teach them how to use. An attendee named Michael brought out his brand new Eyelighter and asked me to show him how to use like I do in my videos.
This was the result. All natural lighting except for the Eyelighter. There's a reason why I love this thing. I positioned her down the road to get the leading lines and to capture that splash of light from the sun.
And the incomparable Ms. @em.explores couldn't look better. Her hand and chin posing game is on point y'all.
