Great day shooting at the @oxford_gun_company on Thursday shooting just under 400 cartridges. Started the day off with a lesson and then shot a 100 bird scoring 80. And then finished on two courses of 50 starting off with scoring a 40 and finishing on a 48!
I know from the surface it looks like anyone posting about workouts and eating healthy is doing so from an aesthetic standpoint, but that’s what we’re conditioned to see. Maybe that’s why you get started with something because old “diet” habits die hard, but it clicks and becomes a lifestyle when you realize it’s so much more. I want to live a long, healthy life and have learned that chasing aesthetics is more about everybody else and can be harmful. I’m focused on true health so I can maintain my system for the long haul. It’s about how I feel and the messages I’m sending myself about myself. If I want to feel smart, strong, motivated, successful, shouldn’t I act like it?! Your outside will reflect your inside from the food you eat, to how much you exercise it, to the messages you give it. Your outside is simply a byproduct of a much bigger working. ❤️❤️❤️
Show yourself some respect, love yourself for who you are today so you’re motivated to take good care of yourself, and know you’re capable of more at any moment you choose.

Not your average progress pics. I’m not competing and im still a ways out from my goal. BUT, I’ve come so far!! It’s so easy to get discouraged a long the way. I’ve made mistakes, the scale has gone UP as well as down and stayed the same for a few weeks... this is a friendly reminder to always appreciate how far you have come without ever settling. It’s totally ok to be happy with where you’re at while also wanting to make improvements. It’s also very important to understand the the improvements that aren’t visible, are the most important of all. Cut yourself some slack, tell yourself good job, but never stop the forward motion. .
Thank you for your help, guidance and knowledge @cshepherdifbb !! Much appreciated!

“A Challenge Is An Opportunity To Succeed”
One of our Core Values, Courageous Honesty, is handling the truth with courage early and often. It’s about being transparent with our teammates and our customers. Part of this is recognizing and addressing areas where we are not strong and focusing on making it better.
As our work load and our projects have continued to increase, the challenge right now for us is to continue to be effective, efficient, and provide the same level of customer service that we have been known for.
On a daily basis, our team is focused on 3 things to improve our organization and our customers experience.
1. Helpful & Kind Communication * When you talk to one of our team members on the phone or in person they will be helpful and kind.
2. Quick Response * We are focused on ways to be faster, more effective, and more efficient on our response rates.
3. We Want To Solve The Problem * We will own it till its right and everyone is satisfied.
The core of what we do is solve customers problems and we are passionate about helping people. We take pride in our reputation for providing quality products and excellent reliable service.
How many times have you prioritized your day, set your to do's, worked non stop, and at the end of it some how managed to complete almost none of them? "What the hell did I do all day?" you might ask in frustration.
That's because To Do lists are nothing without their counterpart, the "To Don't" list.

Keep it fun! .
It's hard to choose a mantra for language learning but I think "KEEP IT FUN" is a pretty good one. As far as I'm concerned, when you aren't having fun anymore ... then something has to change! .
How have I been having fun with languages this summer? Writing postcards! 🖊️💌 I don't find many reasons to write in Spanish so I especially enjoyed taking advantage of the opportunity to write postcards in Spanish to relatives, friends, and my penpal this summer. .
But I didn't stop there! ...
The funnest thing I did was WITHOUT A DOUBT to write part of one postcard in German. I had my German grammar book by my side and wrote sentences like "We are tourists in Yellowstone." "The weather is warm." "My husband has a glass of beer." 😎🌞🍺👏 It was SO. MUCH. FUN! .
I wrote the postcard while we were on a road trip from Nebraska to Yellowstone. I laughed a lot reading the sentences and their translation to my parents and my husband. 😂 I didn't really care if the sentences were 100% correct. I just wanted a laidback, low-pressure way to practice German. And I found it! 💃
I encourage you, challenge you even, to find a FUN WAY to practice the language you're learning today. Rule #1 : KEEP IT FUN! 🙌
Happy Friday everyone. The weekend is here 🥳 For some, that's a time to sleep in, get chores done, kids activities and everything else that comes along with the weekend.
For me, I'll be immersing myself in some learning. The more you learn, the more you earn I was told by one of my mentors. To collapse time frames, I've started consciously reading 10pgs every night and every morning. This allows me to complete 2 books every month. I highlight the important points when I read so when I review, I can focus on those points.
This weekend I have the absolute privilege to be part of an Elite Circle Class where I not only get to learn from the best but also interact with the best in my profession. Thank you Eric Jemielita @ericjemielita for taking time out of your busy schedule to pour into us and share what you have been able to accomplish thus far.
Super excited to read Relentless by Tim Grover @attackathletics and Awaken the Giant Within Tony Robbins @tonyrobbins. Both men I respect and admire a lot. Collapsing time frames is the name of the game and gaining experience is the outcome.
"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go" - Dr Seuss
What are you doing this weekend?
Are you investing in yourself?
It’s a work in progress for me, but something I’ve honestly learned through building my Young Living business.
If I don’t invest in myself, how can I pour into & lead others?
So today, even though our entire family is exhausted from the first week of school & I have a to do list a mile long, I’m here.
Investing in myself.
So I can pour into others, be my best self & make the change I want for our family & my Young Living members.
Time to Boss Up!

Learn What You Can From Everyone On Your Path. The second you think you know it all you’re f**k*d. #AlwaysImproving
Feeling insecure about your body? Here are my >> 3 QUICK TIPS << on how you fight your inner demons! 📚⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1.) STOP ✋🏻 COMPARING || I know. It’s hard. It’s a process. But comparing yourself to other’s or to your younger version is TOXIC af. You are constantly growing and evolving; your body wants to transform WITH you not AGAINST you. Remember that! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2.) FOCUS ON THE GOOD ✨|| Okay, I don’t love my upper arms and that’s okay. You don’t need to Iove every single inch of you if you’re not ready yet. But instead of thinking about all the negative parts FOCUS on the good ones! you like your lips? Awesome! Paint them red and show the world what you’ve got! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3.) BE THANKFUL 🧡 FOR BEING ALIVE || Can’t say this often enough; please please realize that you can SEE. you can SMELL. you can MOVE. Life could be over in just one second so appreciate it and live it to the fullest!!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I hope that helped a bit ☺️DOUBLE TAP or leave a COMMENT & SAVE if you find this post helpful and want more of it 👭♥️

Excited to get back to my usual domain of the frontend... But I'm going to mix things up a little this time.
If you follow my account closely you'll know my FE framework of choice would usually be #vuejs but this time I'm going with #react
Eager to get stuck in and improve my React knowledge 😁
