Take time to honestly look at the issues that are arising either in work or at home (or both), and ask yourself questions like, “Do I really have to do this to be successful/happy/fulfilled?” In the end, it all comes down to self-awareness and acknowledgment. Check in with yourself and realize when your current habits or priorities are NOT serving you in a way that makes you feel happy and fulfilled.
With the new fall semester coming up, we are proposing to create a financial literacy/education course. One that will teach young adults about careers, salaries, credit, budgeting, money management, taking out a loan, buying a house, and even filling their taxes.
It's important that we help establish a solid foundation that will impact their financial mindset.
At EDGE, we are preparing to host events to speak in front of the community and insipre young adults to create a mindset that will help strengthen their financial future.
