Actually....I get to put my hand down! I mean, that totally WAS me, but not anymore!
I used to get those awful day-long achey forehead, droopy eye feeling headaches if I didn’t have coffee within 30 minutes of waking up! Caffeine is NO JOKE!
So, what changed?
I started giving my body the nutrients it needed and it started creating its own energy...at least that’s what I imagine happening inside my body 🤣
But SERIOUSLY! Once I got consistent about drinking my superfood shake my lack-of-caffeine headaches stopped! I didn’t have to drink a whole pot of coffee to stay awake! (👈🏻I really wish that wasn’t the truth but it was. 🤦🏼♀️)
So all you coffee, Diet Coke, Mt. Dew, Monster and Red Bull drinkers...there IS another way! Come, step into the light! Your head won’t hurt over here! 🤣

Hi, I’m Jenn and I’ve been colouring my hair ever since I was 13... it’s been 6 months since I touched it last😳. To be completely honest, I wasn’t even sure what natural color was hiding underneath the layers of dye. My hair has been basically every color there is😅 blonde, black, many shades of brown, red, pink, purple🙈 I just loved changing it, but along the journey I’ve realized it wasn’t always because I loved changing it, but because it was more so that I was chasing to be someone who wasn’t me... wanting hair color like so and so hoping I could pull it off to make myself feel prettier because I could never appreciate myself on any level. I was never happy with myself. I never thought I was good enough. I never thought I was thin enough. I always thought I had to be something other than what/who I am. I think it’s a phase we all go through in our adolescent years, or maybe I’m wrong? (I hope I am🙏🏻) BUT as I get older and continue to learn about myself I learn where my voice is. I learn what I like and what I don’t. I learn that I have options and am in control of what happens next in life. Ive learned that not everyone has to like me and I’m 100% okay with that. I’ve learned that I don’t need to be like ANYONE, but me. Seriously, THAT IS YOUR OWN SUPERPOWER⚡️Being the unique authentic version of yourself 🙌🏻 So stop hiding WHO you are 🛑 ✋ I curse... like a lot. I am super sarcastic. My love language is basically making comments that most people would think are rude and inappropriate😂 and that’s all okay..... I may have totally lost track where I was going with this🙈 & it’s longer than I anticipated, but I think growing older is the bomb dot com. You learn to appreciate the things that truly matter and to let go of the things that don’t bring you joy. THIS IS 30 & I fucking love it - growing older, wiser and happier wearing bigger fucking pants✌🏼😆

Let me just tell ya the truth… The honesty of health and fitness... * * *
1. You will not loose several pant sizes in a day or even two.
2. You will not loose 10lbs in a day and sometimes even a week.
3. You will have set backs either nutrition or fitness wise.
4. Just because you drop 10lbs doesn't mean you won't be up 5 in a few days or weeks.
5. You may try one program and it does the opposite of what you want. It's trial and error sometimes. *
Baby you are human after all and we aren't perfect.
The hardest part of being a better you is accepting this and embracing the failures along with the successes! *
Thinking back to five years ago, it was sad, lonely, dark, suffocating. Now 🖤 all I know is life thankful for how far I’ve come, thankful for the blessings in my life and filled with belief and hope that the future is BIG & BRIGHT ... because I’m cool with hard work and I’m 💯 percent here for it.

I have been making moves in my life that people judge me for or think why is she doing that? You know what people are going to judge you no matter what you do so you might and well do what makes you happy. And you know what makes me happy, Arbonne.
This company is inspirational, motivational and so encouraging. My team lights this fire inside of me that I didn’t know was possible. The honest truth is I am mad at myself for not doing this sooner simply because I was worried about what people would say. How silly of me!

Today has been pure bliss ✨
Started with a recovery workout, errands, lunch, celebratory mimosa🥂 for achieving a goal in my business (which means my reward is getting my hair done, I promise you not letting yourself get it done until you achieve a goal is smart)😝
And ending with some dairy free quesadillas with my little man, and inversion practice. 🧘♀️ it’s something I don’t dedicate as much time to anymore and I miss it!
As a mom of now two wild child’s, Ive discovered that my “me” time has gotten less and less and I’m putting an end to that. Because I deserve ME time, and so do you, mama. 💫
That’s why September is called Self Care September within my team and fit group. All about making ourselves a priority, doing things outside of fitness to take care of ourselves to our full potential. Reflecting on how much my body has changed since getting pregnant. It's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING what a woman's body is capable of! The first photo is the day I found out I was pregnant. I was 195 lbs. The second photo is about 34 weeks pregnant. I was hanging out around 230 lbs. The third photo is 4 months postpartum. I was 215 lbs. The last photo is current. I am 160 lbs now. I am SO grateful for this body that carried and nutured my beautiful son. I'm grateful I had a fairly uneventful pregnancy (until 39 weeks). I love my body, despite the ridiculous flaws I find in myself.
It's okay to love your body. It's okay to not love it sometimes too.
When I get really down on myself; I remember everything my body has done for my son and I. 🖤
What I hear ALL the time...🙈
"I don't have the time"
"I'm not motivated to workout at home"
"I don't have the money"
"I don't know enough people"
"I've tried Network Marketing before"
Listen ✋🏻 I WAS that girl. The girl who used all of those same excuses, time & time again. I would see people sharing their story and THINK to myself, "I would love to do that but I just can't" Like...WHAT?! 😲
People seem to think that this business takes forever and a day to work. WRONG. People seem to think that you need to have a huge following on social media. WRONG. People seem to think that they're not good enough. WRONG AGAIN. 👇🏻
You don't need to have a ton of time, you don't need to have a million followers, you don't need to have experience. What you DO need...is the WANT to make a change in your life. A WANT to build the life you've always dreamed of. A WANT to be better and prove to yourself that you deserve so much more and are worth it, because you are 💖

I could probably make up my own workouts. But, after teaching several times a week, I like someone else telling me what to do. (Bet ya never thought I’d say that! #enneagram8 )
Also….I get a lot of ideas from other trainers! I can write down the moves I love and incorporate them into my next class! #collaborationnotcompetition

If you saw my post yesterday, then you probably know how much I’m loving this Brené Brown quote on my planner today. Today, for me, showing up doesn’t have to be in a huge way or some massive way. For me, today, showing up means being there in the small ways. At work for my co-workers, for my son when he needs a hug, for myself when I need to rest. Showing up is exactly what I don’t want to do when I’m in a bad head space. I tend to hide from everything and everyone. I will nap for eleven straight days and not send a single text. But showing up when it’s hard is usually when it means the most.
Showing up for that workout when all you want to do is binge your fav Netflix show and eat every piece of chocolate in your house. That’s hard. Giving 100% at work when all you want to do is stay home and sleep. That’s hard. Living up to the level of excitement your preschooler has for you to play with them when you just want to scroll IG mindlessly for 10 minutes and take a shower alone- that’s hard! Showing up is a choice. It is a brave choice. It is an important choice. And your choices, big and maybe even more so the small ones, they take your life either in the direction you want, or further from your dreams. Will you show up today?

Still needs to heal up but loving this new piece by @_pretty_boi_ray - the beginning of my tribute to the magical journey of raising my seeds. The most important job I have. Being a mama. I love dismantling the rigid societal pressures and limitations and really meditating on what matters. I feed them magical food. They have a home to live in. We have an honest and vulnerable relationship. They mean all the moon and stars and universes to me.
I wanted #Mami wrapped in #purslane because I love how plump, succulent and resilient it is, needing less water and sun to thrive but still one of the most nutritious plants on this cute continent. Packed with more omega 3 than some fish, more minerals and vitamins than lots of leafy’s, sneaking up between cement cracks ready to love you. I want to mother like that. I want to be my full self, even if some people don’t like how it looks.

May have to fall back on some of my other work for a while that is unpaid to take the pressure off of me to make up for the way capitalism values the mother.
I need less stress around keeping food in my home and doing what I love.

Remember when you first got pregnant? The joy eventually subsided and you thought “oh my, I’ve really done it now, how will I ever figure out this parenting thing, what if I fail, what if I’m not made to be a mom?” .
Simple. You just did. You’re here. You’re living it now. You learned how to understand your baby and nurtured them each day with patience and love. You learned that you can see some changes sooner, while others are more of a weekly or monthly thing. You’ve looked back on pictures to track changes. Monitored growth and celebrated milestones.
Now Sis, why can’t you do that for yourself? Why do you give up on YOU so easily? Why do you ignore YOUR seemingly minor accomplishments, (brushing your hair and having a shower some days is a big deal! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise) YOU are still worth your own time and effort.
