It’s #nationalradioday ! Many of you know us via the podcast, but one of the things we’ve enjoyed the most about making the show is the fact that we get to do it in a community radio station. There’s a certain kind of thrill doing a live radio show that you can’t recreate in a pre-recorded episode, and we love the weird and wacky and wonderful @whupfm for giving us and others space and freedom to do what we do. We made this “promo video” FOUR YEARS ago right when we were fresh radio babies. My how things have changed! We’d love to hear what your earliest radio memories are / whether you have a favorite radio show currently. Leave us a note in the comments. -xo S&A
And I missed him. I missed our time together and how we laughed and held hands walking down the street.
And then I thought that maybe that meant we should be back together.
It actually meant that I did not want to sit in the grief and the ache of being alone and feeling lonely.. I wanted to avoid the empty space that is inevitably created when we let someone ( or something ) go.
I wanted to fill if with the hope that the relationship would now somehow magically work, despite so much evidence that it would not.
So I did my best to simply allow the tears and the missing.
And it also moved me to a better place.
What or who are you missing in your life today and can you relax into the feelings instead of the distractions?
Last call for alcohol! Just kidding - we have plenty of that in the shop. What we don't have is many t-shirts left. They are limited editions, so when we sell out.... that's all she wrote, folks.
There are a few left in a handful of sizes (sorry Medium sized t-shirt ladies - we're sold out). Once they're gone..... baby, they're gone. (PS I can't wait to show you the 2019/2020 version!)
Back-rolling the opposite way i rolled the first time to make sure all the pores are penetrated and sealed with @bona_pro R540. Just an extra step that we take on every residential install we do.

👉🏻 How often do you hear your friends or family saying their doctor thoroughly explained what the issue is or how they took the time to walk them through their plan-of-care program step by step?.
👉🏻 How often do you hear them describe their appointment as, showed true concern and empathy?👩🏽⚕️.
👉🏻 Our guess is not too often? Here at @lebauerpt we take pride in helping our patients from the moment they pick up the phone to schedule an appointment to graduation day!.
👉🏻 There is no one size fits all approach when it comes to healing and we recognize each individual has a story. Why suffer any longer when extraordinary help is just around the corner! Go to the link in our bio to apply for one of our FREE total body diagnostic exams so we can help you enjoy life to the fullest! 🙌🏻😁.
‼️URGENT‼️ Posted @withrepost • @theunforgottensouls We are SO humbled and grateful for the outpouring of support we’ve received from our friends and followers, this past week especially.
Thanks to all of you, our emergency puppy bill was paid in full, with funds left over to help with other medical needs. ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks to our rescue partners and because of your donations, your tags, and your shares, JUST enough dogs made it out of the shelter this weekend to keep this dog - our most urgent case, Minx - alive for another day.
We are not out of the woods because the shelter is STILL full. We know more dogs will be coming, and we know we will keep pleading for more help. But we are still thankful because we also know we could have been writing a very different post today.
Please take a moment and share Minx with friends and rescues. She loves people but would do best with an adult family (or older children) and as the only pet. She is in great need of rescue as she will be the first euthanized for space when the shelter becomes too full.
Similar to OutKast, Little Brother is more than a rap team—they’re a touchstone in our culture’s history. Almost a year after the group’s first performance together in over a decade, Phonte and Big Pooh announced Little Brother would be reuniting to release an album. 9th Wonder, the mastermind behind the group’s soulful production, isn’t currently involved, but the internet rejoiced all the same. Now, after much anticipation, the first Little Brother album in nine years is here. What do the two veteran emcees have left to show us? LINK IN BIO.
I will definitely say my music tastes have evolved quite a bit compared to when I was 14-15 years old and bands like Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace were the soundtrack to a depressed, angst fueled teenage me. Some of those bands I still listen to for nostalgia or because I genuinely still enjoy their music. .
Those that knew me around that age know good and well how obsessed I was Three Days Grace. I haven't been a fan since @adamgontierofficial left years ago... I feel the authenticity, feeling, emotion, and honesty left with him. I never got the chance to see them live when Adam was still in the band so seeing them for the first open for Breaking Benjamin was quite bittersweet. I will say, they are a solid live band but hearing Matt Walst sing those Adam Gontier era songs (which was like 90% of their set) just made me sad. It honestly just makes me really hope Adam's new band @saintasonia comes to Florida soon. I'm not into much stuff on the radio these days but I find their new single enjoyable. .
Chevelle also opened and they were really solid. I saw them in Tampa at 98rockfest a few years ago and while I don't really listen to them a whole lot, I was impressed with how massive they sound live as a 3 piece band. .
Diamonte was the first band of the evening played and that was cool to watch. Great energy overall. .
There was also a band named Dorothy that played after them and I was actually really impressed by them. The voice on the female lead singer was powerful and soulful. Overall a slight modern take on a throwback 70's kinda vibe. I actually would love to see them again. I don't really keep up with what's popular on mainstream radio but going to shows like these can be cool at times because sometimes these big bands will bring out these newer, lesser known bands and some are actually quite talented.
Now Breaking Benjamin? Absolutely terrific. I never saw them live until this show and I left very impressed. They are so amazing live and treat their fans so well. I had so much fun singing along and experiencing them live. 10/10 would absolutely see them again! 🙂
A fun little shoot I did for @heartofgoldbodyarts a little while back. I love working with local business owners! Let’s talk about how we can create some content together for your business.

Eight, 10, 12 layers — or more! Sky-high cakes are a point of pride in the South. Sherry Basya’s little layers have earned her fame across the state — well beyond the walls of her bakery in Dunn. Read more about the Southern signature dessert via the link in our profile bio. 📷:@faithteasley
