Simply put... that’s country! This is a snippet from recordings taken in Leon Russell’s recording studio (The church studio, Oklahoma) between 72’ & 74’. If you haven’t seen it already then I highly recommend as some other rather familiar faces made an appearance in it also!
Happy Monday NYC...feeling motivated to teach Aquarobics with this lovely ladies.

It means so much more
When you’ve gone all in
When you’ve burned all the boats
And put all your eggs
Into that one basket of your wildest dreams
Days such as these require nothing less
Nature will not reveal her greatest moments
To the half hearted
Never in my life have I been sad to leave a domestic city. Gregory and I were looking at homes and apartments and imagining our lives together in them. 😂
Kinda serious though...is Tulsa my truth? @choosetulsa@gkff

How good does that cold front feel? Never been so happy to see 70 this morning. This shot was taken near Keokuk Falls. 📸 by @ericjgates#thisisoklahoma .
Keokuk Falls is a ghost town in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma. The location is 4.5 miles north and 15 miles east of Shawnee. and one mile west of the Creek Nation and one mile north of the Seminole Nation across the North Canadian River. It was named after Chief Moses Keokuk (1821-1908). He is buried in Stroud, Oklahoma's Sac and Fox cemetery
Had a post office from January 13, 1892, until February 15, 1918. Henry J. Jones was the first postmaster. Mail was sent to Prague after the Post Office closed.
Platted at the opening of the Sac and Fox Reservation on September 22, 1891.
Became one of the most famous liquor towns in Oklahoma, because it was in the "wet" Oklahoma Territory near the "dry" Indian Territory.
