Two words nobody likes to hear together, but unfortunately something society hears all too often.
Lots of insurers we work with cover common childhood Critical illnesses. However the AVIVA cover is outstanding in my opinion.
I have just been told a story by my BDM at Aviva of a claim started only last week from a policy set up through another one of her advisors.... parents who took out a £5 per month (minimum premium) upgraded critical illness policy for themselves which also included upgraded cover for their children.
They only took out the cover a couple of month ago, unfortunately last week their 5 year old son was diagnosed with cancer.
Because they both took out a separate £5 per month policy they are awaiting a £50,000 lumpsum from each parents policy. £100,000 pay out which means both parents are able to stop working immediately to be with their son through this terrible time and take the financial strain out of an already terrifying ordeal.
Had they not had this cover, on top of worrying about their son they would now be worrying about how they are going to pay their mortgage and other essential outgoings; probably on one income as one parent will still have to go to work to make ends meet, leaving the other parent unsupported whilst caring for their son.
Don't leave your families future on the hands of a go fund me account... It already is stressful enough to loose a loved for them to also have to think how they are gonna cover your funeral expenses.
This goes to my young adults and young kids, funeral expenses are high and everyone is gonna pay.

Think you don't need life insurance if you don't have kids? You may want to think again. It may seem like an unnecessary expense. But there are many benefits to having life insurance, even if you’re not supporting a family.
Here are 3 reasons why you should buy life insurance:
1. Mortgage Protection
Your home is your largest asset which becomes your spouse or partners financial responsibility if you pass away unexpectedly.
2. Replace lost income
You and your significant other may have planned for a future based on two incomes. Term life insurance can be used to replace the lost income so the survivor can maintain the same standard of living.
3. Funeral expenses
Funeral expenses, burial costs and medical bills add up. The last thing you want is for your loved ones to shoulder this extra burden. #WinstonPamphile#Mortgage Protection #LostIncome#FuneralExpenses#Insurance#LifeInsurance#ProtectingYourLovedOnes
