One of the most atmospheric colonial #Cuban towns is #Trinidad . It is so small that sometimes it is not even marked on the maps. But it's easy to get there. ViAzul intercity coach buses can take you to Trinidad! This #city is conveniently located among the mountains, near the #Caribbean coast. After relaxing on the beach, it is very pleasant to walk along the narrow old streets. It is easy to get lost, but watch for the bell tower - it helps you to find the right direction. If you're lucky, you will get into a Cuban wedding at the same time! #Cuba#Trinidad
The Hazel Scott Show was an early American television program hosted by Hazel Scott who was the 1st African American woman with her own show premiering on July 3, 1950, paving the way for other greats like Oprah.... The #HazelScott Show was an early American television program broadcast on the now defunct DuMont Television Network. The series, hosted by Hazel Scott, ran during the summer of 1950, and is most notable for being the 1st U.S. network television series to be hosted by an #AfricanAmerican woman, premiering on July 3, 1950.
The Hazel Scott Show was a 15-minute-long #musical program hosted by #pianist and #singer Hazel Scott, who would perform show tunes and other numbers live on the show. Scott was no stranger to performing before she began appearing on the program: she had appeared in #nightclubs , on #radio and #television programs, on #Broadway , and in five feature films. The program first aired on July 3, 1950. The show was produced and distributed by the DuMont network, and aired Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:45pm to 8pm ET on most DuMont affiliates. The Joan Edwards Show was in the same time slot on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
#Trinidad -born Hazel Scott was described as a "novelty on the entertainment scene", and the series was well received by critics. Variety wrote: "Hazel Scott has a neat little show in this modest package. [The] most engaging element [...] is the Scott personality, which is dignified, yet relaxed, and versatile." Hazel Dorothy Scott was born on June 11, 1920 (Died October 2nd 1981) was an internationally known, American #jazz and #classical pianist and singer; she also performed as herself in several films. She was prominent as a #jazzsinger throughout the 1930s and 1940s. In 1950, she became the first woman of color to have her own TV show, The Hazel Scott Show, featuring a variety of entertainment. To evade the political persecution of artists in the McCarthy era, Scott moved to #Paris in the late 1950s and performed in France, not returning to the United States until 1967. #BlackHistory#BlackExcellence#BlackWoman
Grew up reading Popular Mechanics (cuz pops thought he could DIY everything in life) and always looked forward to when they featured the Corvettes cuz as a 8-9 year old that was the end of my flat-earth existence: corvettes, popular mechanics magazine and Squizzims in Valpark Shopping plaza because Corgi car reasons. For years it's design was futuristic, especially when they brought out the model with the fan shaped wheels (1983 I think)... Over the decades the 'Vette has received its more than fair share of bashing cuz face it: The car was Tewse afer the engine specs.
With this one tho..... Ahhh that mid-engined beauty is going to hopefully deliver the hurt in copious amounts.

@loreal True match powder in shades W4 and W5 (second photo). I’ve hit pan on the shade W4 and I went out to purchase a replacement as I love this powder! Blends seamlessly into my foundation without making my skin look cakey and this is the perfect shade for me. I went out today for a replacement and I figured W5 would match me, as I’ve gotten a bit of a tan, but on swatching it when I got home I do prefer W4 due to the yellowy undertone. And my country doesn’t do returns, which sucks ☹️ @sachacosmeticsofficial Fix-It Powder (third photo). This powder is too dark for me, so I use it on the perimeter of my face to warm up my face when my foundation is too light. I received this from my mum who unfortunately picked up the wrong shade for me. I will try my best to finish this product, or at least hit pan, but I will not be repurchasing as there are other powders I prefer.
