This is Celine Mitchell.
Celine’s story is fascinating. Originally from Vancouver, Celine and her husband, just did not like the long cold Canadian winters. So, they started studying Google Maps and where in the world they could live that was warm all year round. They chose...Darwin.
This is a truly boundless possible story and one that should bring all Territorians pride about where we live and what we have to offer. It is also a great advertisement for anyone thinking about migrating to a warmer climate.
Celine’s story will be on the next episode of the Boundless Possible podcast released on Wednesday.
Having some fun this morning doing some redecorating and setting up some new displays.
We have been lucky and found some cool upcycled items that compliment our eco friendly philosophy and the shopfront look 💛
We are still on the lookout 👀 for some #oneofakindness pieces for our Darwin shopfront too. If you know of something, get in touch x

Today we received our Nature exchange treasure package from our friends Eli and Willow who live in Queensland. Eli is 3.5 and Willow is 1.5. They had so much fun collecting these treasures for us, we hope they enjoy our treasures that we are about to send them also 🙈 The seasonal nature exchange is such a fun way to get outdoors and really look and appreciate youre surroundings and getting to know whats in other states also. Mr 2.5 absolutely loved opening this package today, he was so intrigued with the treasures we received, miss 14 months loved looking at our treasures aswel although she didnt quite understand why she couldnt eat them 😂
Please feel free to inbox if youd like to know more about the seasonal nature exchange
It’s hard not to be consumed by pictures of beaches in summer, but this time last year we were exploring the fresh, inland waterholes, lakes and rivers in Queensland. There’s no better place to be up north in January. This is Josephine Falls in the Wooroonooran Nation Park, about 75kms south of Cairns. Huge granite boulders create natural water slides and deep cool rockpools with sandy bottoms. We spent a whole day here eating our body weight in mangoes we bought at the side of the road and dipping in and out of the water. A very special place. #placesweswimQLD

One of my favorite places in the Tropical North of Queensland. The #Daintree River - the great dividing river that separates the Daintree rainforest from the rest of the world. It's 6 am on a warm morning of December and we move slowly along the river. There are massive crocodiles, reptiles, butterflies. And birds. So many birds. Sometimes heard but not seen. "My record is 25 species in one tree", says Alex, our guide on this expedition. "Over 430 species of birds have been recorded here", he explains, "This is more than half the bird species for the entire continent" #weloveitwild@daintreeecolodge
