A chemist goes into a chemistry lab unprepared without his or her googles. A high school student is unprepared for 7th period science lab without his or her googles.
An individual without an emergency fund is unprepared for the curveballs life throws at them unexpectedly.
Heed the words of Scar from the Lion King.
"The only way to permanently change the temperature in the room is to reset the thermostat. In the same way, the only way to change your level of financial success 'permanently' is to reset your financial thermostat. But it is your choice whether you choose to change." - T Harv Eker
I have Monday on the brain, and have been doing some crazy marketing research on my next course on making and keeping money in Real Estate!
I have by far made the most money investing through Real Estate and since I am eager to help so many other create that kind of crazy money, I am planning to teach women how to make and keep more money in Real Estate!! If you have ever wondered how to by investment properties or even to own your first one, what has been the most challenging part?
Have you ever pondered why supermarkets and department stores have candy, chips and snacks near the checkout line? 🤔🤔🤔 To capitalize on the possibility of decision fatigue of customers at the end of the shopping trip via impulse buys.
Last night, an old friend sent me this photo from when I was 25 in Venice, Italy. 🌈❤️🙏
It struck me seeing the photo because physically I am so youthful with soft skin, short hair, and a look of innocence and wonder about the world. I had so many years ahead of me and could create anything.
There is so much I was curious about and also worried about around money. I made it to Europe on my own, so that was beyond thrilling. Still as much as this was a magical time, I had so much fear.
I was so insecure. >>>What if I could not afford to ever travel to beautiful places in the world again?
>>>What if I would always struggle with having enough money?
>>>Who could I trust to advise and teach me how to manage finances?
>>>Was I smart enough to figure it all out?
I grew up poor and I was so plagued by being born without money. I somehow believed it meant I didn’t deserve to have more nor was it in the cards for me.
I was spiritual and felt somehow I would be ok, but I could not fight feeling unsettled.
I pushed through only by mastering a fierce determination to not give up until I started to make the amount of money I wanted and to figure out how to make that work.
Years later having finally made sense of money and my mindset around it, I want nothing more than to help other women experience this freedom and joy.
Yes, there is always something new to learn about money and I still make mistakes in the process. But the power I have overall though the knowledge and through pushing through when doubts creep in make all the difference.
One of my favorite wins, was buying my first property at 30. (I wish I would have done it sooner) wins can be big or small and it is important to honor them all.
Today at yoga I overheard a conversation of two ladies talking. One was saying “I don’t like networking, marketing, or selling.” She was looking for work.
I could not help but wonder if the talk she was having wasn’t networking, marketing, or selling?
She was talking to another person (networking) about herself (marketing) sharing her values and likes and dislikes. (Selling)
These words have sometimes gotten a bad wrap cause people start to think it is about being pushy or fake.
So not true. If you are authentic and sharing from your real self that is you being in the world and giving of yourself.
The interaction makes the world go round. Yes, it can feel vulnerable when you put yourself out there, but it is again only because of what you make it mean.
The same is true with money.
You don’t want to ask for it or share your worth because it feels pushy or greedy to want money or have it. Then you tell yourself you don’t like money along with networking, marketing, or selling!
If you look at money as energy and part of way we exchange value then it changes the way you feel about it. Since you need money and likely want a certain amount of it to love the life you want, doesn’t it make sense to think about it lovingly?
If you are with me say yes” in the comments below.
We are featured in a podcast!
This is my year to be vulnerable, which is completely out of my comfort zone! There is so much worth celebrating I couldn’t not share this podcast with you. I’m so proud of us!
You can find it in Get The Hell Out of Debt (July 10th episode) in most podcast platforms.
It is true we are debt free and on our way to true financial freedom, which for me means no longer trading my time for money.
I have learned wealthy people DO talk about money. They share what they have learned and are always wanting to learn more. If you have any questions let me know; I’m always happy to talk about money.

"You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead, pursue the things you love doing, and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off you". - Maya Angelou
As an avid fan of "The Magic School Bus" when I was younger, I looked at this quote as a saying that Ms.Frizzle says every now and then.
Little did I know that she was reinforcing a powerful message that is one of the keys to success.
By taking chances, making mistakes and getting messy, we become BETTER. Failing forward is the 🔑 to unlocking destiny's door.
Thanks, Ms Frizzle.
