Work towards handstand walks/comfort with movement by taking some weight off! 🌞
Using the corner of a table is extra helpful because you don't have to worry about moving the legs...the toes just slide so you can better maintain your line! 🎉
Key points: 🥳
Shoulders (often when we add movement, we tend to "sink in" to the shoulders. By taking away the weight of the legs, it is easier to strengthen the shoulders in this motion!!).🌟 Hips above hands (nice, solid line, stacked) to best resemble a handstand - this is a goal, so don't get frustrated if you aren't already there (lower back strength is important for this).🌟 Flat back (this will really help you not arch in your full handstand, too).🌟 Motion starts in the hands, not the butt (wiggling the bottom only creates more stress on your arms - ow! - and changes your spinal alignment. Work to keep a straight spine by not changing your hip angle). 🌟
