Workout 18: fight club is ✅✅✅👊🏼 .
I initially signed up 2.5 years ago for my workout library because they had an MMA program I wanted to do + I wanted to try the superfood shake! 🌿
My coordination with the program was awful, I was so slow and I had to keep pausing the workout and practice to get the choreography right. I knew the only way to fail was to not do it at all. It didn’t matter how slow I went - all that mattered was I kept going! The awesome trainers were so supportive and encouraging and broke down the moves repeatedly through the workout so I could do them safely focusing on form. #floppingfrogstatus 🐸 #weallstartsomewhere 🤷🏻♀️🤣
This morning I hopped on an accountability zoom call for my workouts with other women in our fitness group. 🏋🏻♀️ I thought oh my gosh - how far I’ve come - I couldn’t smile before, I couldn’t goof of, I couldn’t keep up. All I could do was KEEP SHOWING UP and little by little the coordination for these MMA moves come easier and I can always focus on form rather than speed. .
Whatever your best is at a workout - give it THAT 👊🏼. In THAT moment. Your confidence, your self belief & your self esteem grow day by day just like your muscles 💪🏼 and coordination. #nomorefrogflopping 🐸🤣
