Going to Thailand, you see so many temples. However, every one is so unique and beautiful to the next.

Terlingua is one of my favorite areas of the state. The place feels like an old western - the people are friendly and happy, but in no hurry. The landscape changes constantly, just a 5 minute drive takes you to a whole new scene. The food mixed with a cold beer after a 110° day just tastes better here. And of course, there's the sky. 🌌
Here's a #tinywaterfall ! From #Düsseldorf , of course! A #waterfall can be huge and impressive, or just as nice in a very different way. More content tomorrow 🙂
Today, I booked a flight to Vienna for next August. As Vienna is close to so many places, I'm not sure where I'll go from there. I would like to return to Croatia, though. We'll see, once coach bookings open up for next summer!
Ljubljana! We spent the last few days exploring this stunning city. We walked to the Ljubljana Castle, where we got to climb up to the viewing deck and see an insane view of the city from up there! The castle also had a lot of other great little exhibitions on, and the grounds around it on the walk up were amazing! We were really glad we took the chance to walk up instead of taking the Funicular and missing a really stunning walk (though we did take the Funicular down, because who wants to walk that twice!? 😂). We walked through the city, seeing the Dragon bridge, multiple of the town squares and the Tripe Bridges as well! Something really unique about this city is that they’ve banned cars from the centre of the city, so you can walk around without worrying about a car hitting you 🚙🚙 Though we did almost get hit by two cyclists instead! Ljubljana is also a very green city! There are trees all over the place and the Tivoli Park is huge and quite near the city centre, we were staying quite near there so we got to walk through the park multiple times, walk to an old pink church and also visit the Zoo! All of these things were within the confines of the park, it really is unreal that it’s in the centre of the city. Some of the walks literally feel like you’re somewhere really remote, you can’t hear cars or people, and you’re surrounded by nature! 🌲🌳🌿
This city was a really nice surprise and is definitely one of the more laid-back and quiet cities that we have visited. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a break from real tourist hot spots, Ljubljana is just as fantastic, but without all of the crazy tourist traffic!
A few days slogging through the arctic with a few of my closest friends. It’s amazing to experience something like this with people you’re truly comfortable with. Lots of laughs, real conversation devoid of bullshit smalltalk, sharing of food, mutual stoke. The first photo is from the evening of day 2, during a sunset that had us all sipping too much fireball and acting like children. Second photo is what I saw when I peaked out of my tent on the morning of the same day, Mason spending a morning in solitude probably reading or thinking about life or or maybe just breakfast. Third photo is Luke shamelessly reaching for chocolate of which he always seemed to devour instantly without regret. I’m happy to have these guys around, Stuff like this wouldn’t be nearly as fun without em’.
It’s been a rough month. Events out of my control. But the subtleties of nature remind me that there’s always something to smile about. Everything has a place, a function. What becomes stuck is eventually undone, transforms. The cycle is all around. The river filled with tadpoles; the rocks dotted with little frogs. Grateful to have grown up in such a beautiful place with stunning surrounding areas. Reveling in the simple gifts. 🌿🌙

Today was the time to do a bigger hike. We chose to go up to the biggest mountain we could see from our camping. We didn‘t make it due to rough terrain and insufficient food supplies. In 6 hours we made it up to the ridge and back. Got pretty good drone footage though!
The last stand.
This could in fact have been one of the last times this billy stood so proudly on top of this massive boulder. WDFW has been in the process of capturing and translocating the mountain goats from Olympic National Park back to areas within the North Cascades. The goats are non-native to the Olympics and are being moved to reduce/eliminate the environmental damage they're causing. There are 600-700 or so goats and they hope to capture and translocate 90% of them; the rest will be removed by lethal means. I wondered why they didn't allow public hunting of these goats as a way to manage the remaining population and to generate income at the same time. After reading into a bit more, it seems that would require Congressional action to change the federal law against hunting in National Parks. Overall, the entire project is very positive for the natural environment and the goats. Pretty interesting to read up on how they're making it all happen with WDFW, veterinarians, helicopters, etc., so put your favorite search engine to use if you want more info.
Last set of photos before I start posting film ones from here. Recorded a video with @trey.mayfield on different medium format film stocks and how they differ...excited to show you guys
Absolutely insane morning in Mount Rainier with some new and old friends✨Woke up at 3:45am and made our way to this little tarn. There was thick fog on the trail, and we weren’t sure if we would get a view, but as we reached the top the clouds gave way and we were above the inversion. Definitely a morning to remember, this park gets me every time💛

I don’t always hike in jeans, but when I do, they’re made by @duerperformance. But honestly friends,⠀
✨SAY HELLO TO THE COMFIEST JEANS I OWN✨⠀
I was first introduced to @duerperformance by a friend, and I can’t get enough of them ever since. As someone who lives in a van, I don’t have room to own a million closets’ worth of clothes as I did back home. Everything I own now must serve a purpose. Here’s what I like about DUER's jeans:⠀
✔️@duerperfomance’s signature denim is super stretchy without looking synthetic, which means they don’t hold me back from adventuring⠀
✔️The denim is treated with COOLMAX to help with temperature regulation, providing extra comfort⠀
✔️@duerperformance pants also have anti-bacterial fibers which means you can wash them less - great for full-time travelers like me!⠀
Check out my stories to see how to get your pair of @duerperformance pants! @scottyreichard is desperately trying to steal mine, so hopefully, he sees this😂😒 #DUERIRL#a d
