It’s been 5 years with this one. What an adventure we’ve been on. Still learning from you and about you and can’t wait to learn more. It takes work and compromise but I wouldn’t want to do that with anyone else. Happy 5 years! I love you.
Good time puttin in some work for a small reward yesterday and running into some friends doing the same thing at the top!

Easy like Sunday morning + afternoon + dinner at home.
It’s so crazy to me that we’ve only known each other for a little over two years, and even crazier that I can’t pick a single memory from that relatively short period to write about. We’ve hiked through grizzly country, attended an impromptu blue grass concert in West Virginia, basked in the crisp air and cedar smoke within firing distance of the Mexican border, spent a surprisingly cold night on the banks of the Colorado, had more “four bundle” nights than I can count, and, of course, experienced that one night when we really had to come to terms with whether or not we believe in (and are terrified of) aliens. And as much as I love thinking back on all those memories, I’m even more excited for the stories still to be written. So happy birthday Neil. Thanks for the incredible memories and an even more incredible friendship. The first round of 2020 desert Tecates is on me. 🍻
The Great Fire of 1910 burned 3 million acres in the Pacific Northwest. Smoke could be seen as far east as New York. As a result, the USFS began a decades long pursuit to outfit our forests with fire suppression services. Chief among them was the fire lookout tower; it housed men and women who embraced the solitude for the safety of others. Still to this day, only survivors need apply. We salute you.
