1. Learning what it takes to move the scapula forwards, backwards, laterally, and in opposite directions simultaneously.
2. The ability to stretch the lateral line from the feet to your arms.
1. The top hand pulls while the bottom hand pushes throughout the sequence.
2. Be aware of coming out of alignment at your hips and/or rib cage in order to “get a deeper stretch”.

We all get lost at times when we try to put the puzzle of life together. We get so involved with finishing that we never realize we have mastered oversight. As we go through the journey somethings don’t feel right and they don’t look right but we continue to believe we are on the right path.
For some it takes years before they go back and take a second look at the puzzle and figure out that some pieces didn’t fit. Then we realize some pieces are missing.
How does this happen? Answer is a few reasons. Lack of prior experience with matching up the correct pieces. No mentoring in our life or no coach to correct us when we get off course.
Remember never be afraid to trust someone, open your own business or fall in love. You might just be wrong, and if you are, welcome the opportunity to break apart those pieces of your puzzle, change their direction and put them back in a new way. Because when you do, you'll realize that you're now one step closer to seeing the whole picture and having all the pieces connect at exactly the perfect points.

8.5 hours, 16 miles, 30 obstacles, 3 sprained ankles, 1 jacked up shoulder, torn callouses.. but if you asked us if we’d do it again, we’d say in a heartbeat! Our motto for this race: THANKFUL, GRATEFUL, BLESSED. We joked that as we moved through the race, that might change 😅 but it didn’t! We were well hydrated and had enough fuel for ourselves and for other racers in need. Made new friends and share a lot of laughs. We got stuck on a single track in the forest for 2 hours, not moving and unable to pass!!! We ran every chance we got, but there was a ton of elevation (3500ft), ankle deep mud and streams with tons of rocks you couldn’t see. So cool to race through where so many movies/shows were filmed: Jurassic Park, Jumanji, Lost and Kong to name a few. What an epic way to finish out my trifecta!!!

I always love to end my workouts with a killer metabolic circuit; it gets the heart going and leaves you feeling sweaty and accomplished 💪🏼.
The beauty of this workout here is that it can be done ANYWHERE!!! You just need some towels and a smooth surface. The towels provide an added stability/balance challenge, and allow you to do the movements at light speed (as long as you are SOMEWHAT athletic 😆), due to the decrease in friction. .
I will show progressions/regressions in separate videos, but try to challenge yourself with these movements today!!! The medicine ball adds a level of difficulty, but they are just as hard without one. I like to do 2-4 rounds at the end, and it should only take 5-10 minutes to finish all of your sets. NO REST ALLOWED!
1️⃣ Single Leg Hamstring Curls: 10-15 reps each leg: Use the off leg to swing up and squeeze your glutes to make sure your hips go ALL THE WAY UP!
2️⃣ MB OH Swings with Ab/Adduction: 15-20 reps: Your legs open as the ball comes down, and they come together as the ball goes overhead. Go slow at first to get the movement down, then go as fast as possible! This works your abs and your legs!
3️⃣MB Sliding Lunges with Rotation: 20-30 reps total: Same as above; go slow to get the balance down, then go as fast as you can. It can be tricky to time the rotations with the sliding, but I have faith in you 👍🏻

You know the feeling you get, when you’ve done the work on yourself, whether it’s the gym, better your fitness, your mindset to consistently improve.
That moment when you are driving home in your car, alone, with a good song, being in love with who you are.
The internal feeling and acknowledgement when you realize you ‘got there…’
Once athletes realize it’s not about winning 10 championships, to be the in the top 10 of sport highlights.
It is about the internal driver, the purpose of why the athlete shows up, the ‘why’ - that’s truly what makes us unstoppable.

Who else has an obsession with leggings? 🙋🙋 I just got in two brand new pairs from @tilyoucollapse and I'm obsessed. The material is soft and stretchy but not slippery for Aerials class which is awesome. Some other brands I love is @90degreesbyreflex and @aeropostale with their Live Love Dream collections. I think at this point, I have more leggings than pants. What are some brands that you love?

I have arrived 🖤🖤🖤🖤 Taking a second to embrace what this photo depicts. It's me in my rawest form. Just remember I don't come from humble beginnings. While there were moments of laughter and key people in my life and or family that stood true. Most of my life was very hard and disturbing. The worse scenarios in which you could think of.
Most memories still haunt and are very present in my silent moments. However learning over the years how to use it in a positive atmosphere. Learning how to use the same exact pain and memories that hurt me, to also push my limits. To push my boundaries. Using it to achieve my dreams.
If you have a similar past. Your pain and scars are nothing more than your ARMOUR! Learning how to control that and focus it into your life for the better is key or at least that is my opinion. For me I channel that into my matches. However it is controlled aggression. This imo is when you are capable of achieving anything.
P.s. Then there are times you just let your rawest form come to play. You have to decide when that is. For me I'm lucky enough to do a combat sport for a living. So once in a while it's ok to let the dark side play. 😈😈😈😈 📸 @gorden.photo .
