Karate has helped me follow the right path in life... I could have chosen to get into gangs, drink all the time, carry a knife, sell drugs or anything as that’s all a fashion these days but growing up with a karate master and world champion as a father I was given great opportunities and guided down the right path. I now thank my father for being so strict on me because he has turned me into a man and I can say that in 25 years of life I have never even smoked a fag and don’t touch alcohol at all! Thank you dad and thank you Karate🥋🥊🎖

Why do people quit gym after a couple of months⁉️ A lot of people make New Years resolutions, but the one I hear the most is “I’m going to get a gym membership” or “this is the year I’m going to be consistent in the gym”. Most of the time the individual starts strongly within the first month or so but then slowly loses interest as time goes on.
Some of the reasons why are: ❗️NO GOALS - Before you start going to the gym make time to write down your short term and long term goals as this will have you aiming for something ✅ ❗️LACK OF MOTIVATION - One of the main reasons for lack of motivation is not seeing results fast enough. Results will come you just got to stick at it and trust me you will benefit from the results ✅ ❗️NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO - If you’re not sure on what to do, you could either do some research on your own or can invest in a personal trainer. Time trial Tuesday - or at least I wish it was for me 😫
However.. Ankle update - I can't complain too much as I've had confirmation today that there definitely is no sign of any bone or joint damage 🙌🏼 and I'm now able to walk without a limp so that's significant progress! It's still very rainbow coloured though I have to say 😂

Vor 5 Jahren habe ich hier meine erste Weltmeisterschaft im Nachwuchsbereich bestritten.
Damals habe ich die letzten 500m schon genossen, weil die Stimmung an der Strecke mir einfach Gänsehaut verpasst hat 😍
Mit 102 Nationen und Tribünen wie ich sie auf so einem Wettkampf noch nie gesehen habe, wird das jetzt die größte Weltmeisterschaft aller Zeiten! 😱
Ich freue mich schon wirklich auf die Veranstaltung und auf meine Rennen 🤩
Das wird Kanurennsport der Extraklasse 🔥👌🏼
