Yellow roses and elvis were two of my auntie susie’s favourite things. They are two of mine too. My auntie was also one of my favourites, she was everyone’s favourite. A legend. She died about 18 years ago but is as fresh in my mind as the flowers on the table. She was a clippy on the Glasgow trams, worked in Lewis’s had no mother of her own but brought up two weans that weren’t hers. Had time for a laugh with everyone and took us to see bambi while passing round the box of black magic. She also took a dram 👌🏿 #susieforever#yellowroses#tulipchair#bananatree#leopardprint#baywindow
Another view of the Banana Tree. I have been misting the leaves (In an attempt to prevent spider mites which infected other plants I have recently ) Although it is warm outside I have been leaving the banana tree inside due to very high wind conditions we have been experiencing recently 🌴🍌 #bananatree#tropicalplant

The garden adventures continue. This amazing banana tree has a new leaf beginning to unwrap itself out the top of the tree. 🍌 I first purchased the tree a few months ago from @tropic_of_canada. Im so amazed by this plant every single day!

Update on the new leaf. Completely unfurled! I love banana leaves, they're so wide, flat, and soft! Plus the pattern is beautiful! Love my Musa! 🍌❤
FINALLY!!!!!! I have been waiting since last year for this bundle of 🍌 to ripen. Today was the day to cut her down and start eating! I personally prefer these to what you get at the store as home grown is always better than bought!. Mmmhmmmm 😋. Who else has a banana mini forest! -
Hobbies include: Eating at different restaurants and trying all their Vegan food. Tonights was at Banana Tree and I’m sad to say I wasn’t a fan 😢 nothing wrong with the food as such, just not my cup of tea. For starter I had the Satay Vegan Bites which were so yummy to start with (they were made of Soya and had a spicy kick to them), but after two pieces I’d had enough and they began to taste too soft for me. For my main I had the Vegan bites sweet and sour with sticky rice (again the Vegan bites were Soya) and this just did not do it for me. The rice was okay, but the Sweet and Sour dish just wasn’t up my street (my best friend got the same and she really liked hers though). On the bright side, the Elderflower Mock-tail was delicious! I’d definitely go back to Banana Tree to try some other options from their Vegan menu, but for now I have to say it’s not been my fave! Thank U, next! ❤️ (Still love Banana Tree for drinks and night out tings though, the vibe is always on point ✨) #bananatree#vegan#food#restaurantreview
A banana tree with an attitude! Natasha planted this tree on our retaining wall a number of years ago, and each year it has come back bigger and bigger! This year it has even produced a banana! (Look real close for a red pod... Red/green color blind guys like me - good luck!)
