Chloe: “Girl, it is SO good to see you! So what’s the plan today?”
Stella: “Well, I’m thinking this morning we can just run aimlessly, occasionally colliding with each other at high rates of speed while escalating things juuust to the point of almost being genuinely upset with one another. Then it’s looking like this afternoon should be good for some running. I definitely have to chew on your face while you’re here too. So yeah nothing crazy.” #dogdayafternoon#loveatfirstbite

Do you know MARCHE or SMARCHE? It’s an algorithm used for effectively treating casualties at Point-of-Injury. Intended to give the patient, humanoid and canine alike, the best chance of survival by prioritizing intervention in order of precedence. ABCs or CABs have and are going by the wayside for first response care.
M - Massive Hemorrhage (Lots of blood)
A - Airway (Can air move in and out of the body?)
R - Respiration’s (Quality of the breathing, uneven rise and fall of the chest etc.)
C - Circulation (Blood pressure, blood volume etc.)
H - Head Injury / Hypothermia
E - Evacuation / Extremities / Everything else.
Discussing it with @specialforcesmedics while partaking in adult wheat soda’s, it’s a lot of acronym, but you should learn it. If you have trouble, dog handlers can take advantage of my acronym making up prowess and start with BARC. Because it’s like the sound a dog makes and some Marines might spell it that way already.
B - Bleeding
A - Airway
R - Respiration
C - Circulation
