When we see a human skeleton we get scared but don’t budge at all when we see skeletons of nature. We have made sure to screw up the balance of nature and hardly taking efforts to secure the sanctity of nature. Nature is been kind to us and taking small revenge by floods and droughts. But when this small baby will grow and take form like Godess Kali, no one would be spared and it would be too late. So stop being a dingwat and start taking care of Mother Nature and pray that she keeps the form of Lakshmi (since we Indians are fond of her) and takes care of us like our own mother. .
This picture is taken without any filer and posted as it is, where nature has shown her gloomy side and screaming for help.

You might think this bird is an egret when viewed from its side. But care to observe it until it faces you and you will be presented with a very intriguing evolutionary mutation that this bird sports quite proudly. Spoonbills have... spoon... bills. Yes. They literally don't need a spatula for flipping them omelettes because they already have one attached to their face. Quite a looker I must say!

The blue rock thrush (Monticola solitarius) is a species of chat. This thrush-like Old World flycatcher was formerly placed in the family Turdidae. It breeds in southern Europe, northwest Africa, and from central Asia to northern China and Malaysia.
This was one of only two times I have ever seen and photographed the MASSIVE Ximungwe lionesses in the Northern Sabi Sands.
These two are mostly wandering around in the untraversable Robson's concession, so sightings of them are quite rare.
We were thrilled to find them on our very first drive on my recent Photographic Safari 2 weeks ago.
They were lazing around and panting quite heavily to try and digest the Buffalo they had killed and eaten a day before.
They were quite close to a waterhole and we knew there would be a great opportunity for us to get some great shots of them as they drank.
We decided to leave them for a while, and search for other "more active" sightings 😊
We found Tiyani the female leopard and her cub inside of Simbambili Lodge!! After an hour we decided to head back to the lionesses and just as we arrived we could see them walking towards the waterhole.
Our excitement was palpable!
We positioned our vehicle on the other side of the water and waited patiently.
They sat quite far apart from each other and started to lap up the water.
The quench.... It didn't last long, approximately 3 minutes, and it was all over.
My guests got some cracking images.
A GREAT start to our 5 day trip... More of the rest of our trip a little later.... 😁 *Photos Info:

The Indian roller ( From my archives , shot about 13 years ago ... yes im a veteran of sorts )
The Indian roller (Coracias benghalensis) is a member of the roller bird family. It occurs widely from West Asia to the Indian Subcontinent. It is best known for its aerobatic displays of males during the breeding season. It is often seen perched along roadside trees and wires and are commonly seen in open grassland and scrub forest habitats. The largest population occurs in India, and several states in India have chosen it as their state bird Including Karnataka where it is called Neelakanta
The Chinese goose is a breed of domesticated goose descended from the wild swan goose. The knob at the top of the beak is more prominent on males than females. It takes several months for the knob to become pronounced enough that it can be used for determining gender. Chinese geese are a close cousin of the African goose, a heavier breed also descended from the swan goose.
