Let us remember that animals are not mere resources for human consumption. They are splendid beings in their own right, who have evolved alongside us as co-inheritors of all the beauty and abundance of life on this planet" ― Marc Bekoff
Our grandchildren will ask us one day: ‘Where were you during the Holocaust of the animals? What did you do against these horrifying crimes?’ We won't be able to offer the same excuse for the second time: that we didn't know.”
Dr. Helmut Kaplan
Powerless they stand before us.We take everything from them, even THEIR lives.

EMBRACE VEGANISM 🌱
While traveling in Nice, France a few years ago, I noticed at the market they had mixed this rabbit foot clover in their gorgeous bouquets and I thought to myself, I have those growing in my yard!
I only needed to make 20 ft of this garland but I would probably finish it by spraying light dusting of sparkles.
That fuzzy thing is called Trifolium arvense, commonly known as hare's-foot clover, rabbitfoot clover, stone clover or oldfield clover, is a flowering plant in the bean family Fabaceae. This species of clover is native to most of Europe, excluding the Arctic zone, and western Asia, in plain or mid-mountain habitats up to 1,600 metres altitude. When adding this the blooms have to be picked at a right time so that it doesn’t fall apart. Otherwise it makes a huge mess! #wildweddings #nauticalnuptialssouthshore #southshorens #beachwedding #weddingbythesea #visitnovascotia #toronto #vancouver #montreal #calgary #nyc
And just like that followed our little Munchkin 👶🏻

There are many things I love about what we do in Papel & co. but there is one I always look forward to~ the moments of connection, calm and enjoyment during the creative process, whether it is designing a suite, working with my hands and touching the paper or taking these pictures. This year I realized that for years I gave for granted the power of silence, the power of having to constantly problem solve with our machines and the many other issues that we encounter printing, the power of counting one sheet at a time, the power of offering services that are extremely labor intensive and that require a huge amount of patience- how many times have we said I wish I could do calligraphy faster? Or I wish I could do more wax seals faster? Why? Why do we want to rush these processes? We are so lucky to have jobs that force us to slow down and connect with our selves. Today I love and cherish these slow and quite moments, I hope you realize that THIS is what matters, not the number of followers, not the number of likes, or even the number of clients but the moments of peace and connection doing things that make you happy✨🌸
Celebrating your friends love is the best. Look at this beautiful woman. PS made it to Zion and am officially in that amazing middle place of ethereal personal joy and exciting and challenging work ethic. Shoutout my clients who I get to share a love of adventure with 🌞
