Wow! This coat used to be bright pink lmao. Needless to say it's had alot of use over the last 7 years! Thank you @iconmotosports it's held up very well!
What's your oldest piece of gear that you still actively wear? How old is it and who's the manufacturer? Mine is this icon coat. (I retired my older Joe rocket a few years back.)
I don’t post about it much, but ever since I started training with Mark Batres in early 2018, I’ve logged thousands of miles of biking on top of my normal running plan. Most of these in 2018 were on a stationary bike in my basement or at base. This cross training helped a bit, but it almost seemed like junk volume. 😰 It wasn’t until early this year that I bought an appropriate sized bike, actual bike shorts and converted to pegs. Hooolllyyy shit does it make a difference... Not only does biking now make for a fantastic workout, but it is also an awesome recovery tool when my legs are toast from running or lifting. I’d be lying if I said hitting 30+ mph on descents wasn’t fun as well. 😂 Want to hear something interesting? I would say the greatest training effect from this change has been my ability to run through think mud and high water. The “pull” action to drive the leg up and forward while running is almost effortless now.
