"Equilíbrio e Auto-conhecimento são as chaves para uma existência bem menos traumatizante e mais realizada. Para o escuro há o claro, o bem não seria nada sem o mal e que valor teria a felicidade se não fosse o sofrimento para valida-la? Caminhe e sempre procure fazer o bem, cultive boas lembranças e conhecimentos, pois são as únicas coisas que levamos diante da certeza de que, inevitavelmente, morreremos." ૐ☆☮♡☼

#ad | Good morning 🌸 I’m always on-the-go but I still like to stay on top of my health. I recently discovered the @Regenerate range, Enamel Science products that come in handy sizes, which help me to take care of my enamel wherever I go. Enamel erosion happens to everyone, at all ages. Even healthy food and drinks can trigger acid attacks, which can cause enamel erosion. But with the Advanced Foaming Mouthwash you can restore enamel mineral right after acid attacks when teeth are at their weakest. The convenient format can be used at home after brushing or on-the-go after snacks and meals. The best thing about it is that it contains up to 50 rinses in 50ml, which is the same number of uses as a 500ml bottle of mouthwash. Get your Regenerate favourite so you can also future-proof your smile wherever you go! Check my story for the swipe up link. 🦷 #RegenerateEnamelScience#RegenerateYourSmile

This is such a beautiful pure silk designer dress. By Diane Fres. Late 80’s, early 90’s I would think. Beautiful colours, beautiful print and the pics don’t do it justice. Available in our Etsy store now. Approx UK size 14 💚💙💖
When your dress has pockets 😏
Enjoying some peace and quiet while the kids nap. Feeling cute today thanks to my fave t-shirt dress 🤗
👗: Comfy Chic Tee (Dress)
PS, I sized up so it would be loose! It’s pretty TTS, but it has plenty of stretch too 😉

And I’m back!😛Not that I went anywhere, but after my mom’s 3-week visit with us (13 May-4 June), I kind of got out of the habit of posting here and it actually felt great taking almost a 4-month break from posting (I still post daily in my Instastories), not feeling pressured to have to continually create content, etc. Sure, I lost a lot of followers in the process, but c’est la vie! I guess that’s the price I’m willing to pay for living more consciously, engaging with people face to face, rather than through the screen, going to the beach, watching sunsets, instead of worrying which outfit to photograph next.🙄
I have originally set up this account last year to advertise my online vintage store which, due to a severe carpal tunnel on both of my hands, has been closed for awhile now, but will re-open soon, I promise. In the process, it has become a platform for my fashion musings, my occasional outfits, a way to share with you my love of vintage (which I breathe), print (hence my IG handle vintage prinTcess) & color.
I wore this killer 1970s Kamehameha (a vintage Hawaiian label) psychedelic caftan on 10 July when we went out to see our friends’ band playing at a local restaurant. It was the day before my hubby’s birthday (7/11), so we kinda got an early start on the B-day celebrations.
I found this magnificent hooded caftan, with the biggest kimono sleeves, on Etsy last summer, from a seller who doesn’t seem to have an IG presence. We had great weather that night - warm but low humidity (unheard of during the East Coast summers - it’s hot and 90% humid right now 🥵), so I paired this up with my pink/green hand painted boots. The accessories, as usual, are a work in progress (see the next two posts). To see the hood, please swipe left. Live in color!💗💚💗
It took me a while to embrace my complexion and freckles when I was younger. I grew up in a multicultural home and those cultures have very different standards of beauty. I really didn't fall into either. I tan quite easily and have a sprinkling of freckles on my cheeks that become more prominent in the sun. These are not desired traits in Korea, where they prefer a porcelain white complexion that is absolutely blemish and freckle free. I additionally inherited very European eyes, which often confused Koreans who did not think I looked Asian. Basically, I stuck out like a sore thumb there. The U.S. on the other hand, is a melting pot of race and culture, so I felt I blended in much more. However, I didn't fall into the tall, blonde. blue eyed, all-American girl ideal either. It's something that really shaped my perspective on my self image. I was never going to be the standard of beauty for either culture, which meant I was free to wear what made me happy and style myself however the hell I wanted instead of how everyone else thought I should. It's become a world where I am flattered and incredibly appreciative of a compliment instead of one where I need validation to feel pretty.

I've always been a big fan of the Adam West Batman series from the 60's!
Living in Korea for a few years and spending my summers there growing up, it was randomly one of the only English speaking shows on Korean cable that my cousins would actually watch with me. 🦇
Lesson: the power of Batman transcends language barriers.
