”And when I was angry, when I was younger, I was in a cocoon. Now I’m a beautiful, black butterfly.”

Show off your love for butterflies with this adorable pair! These are our Butterfly Winged Blossoms, style #191 ☺

"Metamorphosis has always been the greatest symbol of change for poets and artists. Imagine that you could be a caterpillar one moment and a butterfly the next."
–- Louie Schwarzburg (Award-winning filmmaker)

It’s been a week of butterfly synchronicity. While on phone with a dear friend, she said a large group of butterflies flew in a group near the window as we chatted.
Then, this arrived in the mail.
Love this beautiful butterfly Tufa cast style cuff with natural turquoise stones my hubby recently bought for me. Native American Artist E.L. Billah.
Turquoise is also associated with the planet Mercury. Mercury rules Gemini in astrology and Wednesday was named after it (Mercredi in French). Gemini is my rising sign. This is a glimpse of one of my services —Cosmic Styling for those who want to genuinely express their astrological birth chart through their personal style.
Okay I’ve definitely been staring at my phone for wayyy to long today, but I finally have all these moth babies listed on my Etsy site! Link in bio. Hooray!! 🙌 I would really appreciate your feedback, thoughts, shares, purchases, likes, etc. Okay now that all my favorite geometric moth necklaces have been released I need to go sit outside for a bit. Love you all. 🖤

Shine in this season with this pair of extravagant long drop earrings, inspired by the art of paper-cutting. The timeless design dazzles in gold or silver tone butterfly motifs. Let the butterflies dance as you walk!
Ready to show a new brooch
I can’t think of a name for her .. I have only the “burlesque queen” spinning .. but this is, in my opinion, too much😆
Do you have any ideas? .
I wanted to embroider a girl with a full skirt .. and then something went wrong and the girl came out without a skirt at all) .

💎💎💎 Happy Tuesday from these charming bejewelled creatures! Which earrings feel more like you: 1 or 2?
This intricate pavé setting of @aidabergsenjewellery shows her acute attention to detail! Did you know that "pavé" originates from French word meaning "to pave" and refers to the nature of the setting, where gems are put in small holes close together making the surface look like it's entirely covered sparkly with gemstones? To hold them in place tiny pieces of surrounding metal are raised and pushed back on the stone to create little claws. Words cannot describe how excited I am about this design! At her core sits a colorful labradorite which I paired with ethically sourced, preserved butterfly wings. For good measure, I added a crescent moon to make it a trifecta of 3 of my favorite things!! She will be available this Friday, August 23rd at 7pm EST in my Flutter collection ☺️🦋
It’s always so interesting for me, to take note of the things that make a certain season feel like it has arrived. As a kid, summer meant being able to run down the mulch path in our yard barefoot, my feet calloused enough from being outdoors without shoes that the little wood chunks no longer stabbed into the soles of my feet. It also meant lazy afternoons binge-reading my latest library book and begging for one more frozen treat from the freezer.
And looking for Monarch butterfly eggs. That was a summer highlight, too.
We’d go down to the river, flipping milkweed leaves to look for the butterfly eggs hidden there. If we were lucky, we’d find them - like tiny grains of sand clinging to the underside of their someday food source. That those tiny eggs could someday - though growth, and change, and metamorphosis - become the fiery Monarchs I loved so much always amazed me. It still does today, if I’m being honest.
So when I found these Newlander Variscite stones in Tucson back in February, I knew what they had to be. But I waited, for summer and for my first Monarch sighting of the year, before I finally settled in to bring it to life. The Monarch necklace - available this Saturday, 8/3, at 10am Mountain Time!
