Spent the past 2 weeks driving all the way north and back in British Columbia. I loved feeling more connected to the place I’ve called home for the past 20 years and seeing things I’ve dreamt of seeing for ages.

1433: Ah England. These stunning houses are around the cathedral, which is over 900 years old and you can see the edge of on the right hand side here.
Today was also the day that my lack of sleep for the first week of the trip finally caught up with me, but it was nothing a large coffee and some 400 million year old rocks couldn’t fix. Thanks Kent’s Cavern - I think I may finally remember the difference between stalactites and stalagmites...
Nunca supe hacerle caso a mis instintos
Me obligaste a enamorarme sin mirar atrás
Tú robabas corazones como un dulce a un niño
Dentro de la colección el mío es uno más
Del amor siempre he escuchado cuentos tan distintos

1432: With less than 9 hours at home to sleep, shower, unpack, repack, find the cat, greet my parents after half a year, iron a dress and find jewellery, we made it out of the house on time (unheard of) and set off to Devon and the most beautiful wedding. Congratulations to the wonderful couple on a truly exquisite day!
I was sipping my green tea at my window and this guy or girl just popped in front of me, he sat maybe 10 feet away from me on a wire, I was still sipping my green tea but something inside me told me to get my camera, but I somewhat knew that if I stood up he will fly away, so i stood up as slow as I can and went into my bedroom to get the camera, turned it on and did the setting in 5 sec I guess, I spanked up the shutter speed cause I knew I don't have a telephoto lense so I will have to crop the image to get and veiwable photo. I ran towards my kitchen window ducked my small toe finger into a marble slab and this guy was just about to fly, I some how managed to focus him and got this slightly blur shot.
Shutter speed 1/800
That's my morning, I hope you will have a better one😆
1431: The last day in #Portugal has to be captured with these exquisite tiles and shutters 💙 We ended up doing a massive loop trying to get to the rubber duck shop, before realising we could have seen it from our breakfast place 😂 then to the LX Factory the best part of which was an impromptu wine tasting for my fussy sister paired with the final round of listography over lunch. Then to the airport to head home where I heard my first ever “is there a doctor onboard” call, leading to the fastest landing in Heathrow that I have ever experienced 👩🏻⚕️
Better late than never! Forever grateful for all of the experiences I’ve had and places I’ve been able to see because of photography - Forever thankful for clients that have hired me and allow me to take photos for a living.
1429: On Wednesdays we explore pink places... well we started at the beach near #Cascais where the wind blew sand into everything we owned and my friends tried to throw me into the freezing water (thankfully they failed 😂). Next up was lunch before walking to Boca do Inferno and exploring the city (I mostly hunted for shade and streets to photograph). And then back to Lisbon to head to Park Bar and then the Time Out Market.
