Sprague Lake sunrise shared with my parents earlier this week. (we appreciated the sky for all of 5 minutes before the moose stole the show 😍) Still not over how great it was to finally able to share all of these places that have come to mean so much to me with them in “real-time”. (finally getting the pictures off of my actual camera, my new iphone has made me such a lazy photographer 😝)
Cuckoo Wasp - Guêpe de feu (Hedychrum nobile), female, France 2018. Here we come, 1/30,000 sec. After a whole week of questioning, probably the most challenging pic of my career. This female wasp (Hedychrum nobile) is about 6-7mm, and the technical process was very tough to set up. Furthermore, because of the diffused light, the scene needed 6x flashes 580EX.
