Lately my job has been offering voluntary time off. Today I was offered to go home early due to low volume. Soooo tempting because.... well who wants to be at work?! However, if I would have left when they said I could, I would have been giving up like $180 take home pay....that’s so much money to give up that I was planning on getting next paycheck. .
I struggle with choices like this because I’m debt free, but I have savings goals! And I’m an overachiever and want to exceed my goals. It’s all about balance and this is something I need to work on. I have issues with using my money for “fun” stuff versus savings/investing. Sometimes I think I’m TOO frugal and tight with money. But compound interest is the 8th wonder of the world....but I also need to enjoy my life now and live a little....back and forth back and forth.
Maybe knowing we are at a slow time at work I could budget for a lower paycheck....but it kills me knowing that I could be getting that extra money if I wanted to! I also think I need to listen to my body. Some days I NEED to go home and rest. Other days I’m fine but just would rather be at home snuggling with my pets 🐶🐶😺

I get pleasure by doing things what people say I can’t do.
3 exercises to implement on your leg days.. (yes I know old clips 🤷🏽♀️)

EXERCISE 1: 🌺 Single Leg Press
This is heavy for me and was my last set so I got somewhere around 4-6 reps. Choose a moderate weight and go for 6 sets of 12-15 reps, make the last set heavy for 4-6 reps.

EXERCISE 2: 🌺 Standing Hamstring Curls
A lying or seated hamstring curl machine works as well, I prefer this one when I have access to it. Again last set, 4-6 reps; and 6 sets of 12-15 reps.

EXERCISE 3: 🌺 Seated Calf Raises
Seated or standing calf raise machine works. 6 sets of 8-10 reps with a slight pause at the top.
