It really excites me to be writing about @the_cove_exeter because they really inspired me to start Elyza Experiences. After food, my biggest expense is my skin and it's definitely worth it. I grew up loving make up and it’s probably what I spent most of my pocket money on growing up but it’s only in the last few years that I’ve really started to look after my skin. I’ve gone on about my skin journey on Instagram a while back and I was saying how, out of nowhere just before I started university, my skin just broke out and I was struggling with acne. It lasted for a few years but it left me with deep scars on my cheeks and it’s just always been a bit of an insecurity! .
The Cove has given me a deeper knowledge about my skin and how to look after it. Laura, my therapist, has been so excellent at creating a bespoke skin treatment programme and I've watched everyone else on the team give the same level of care and attention to other customers. .
The Cove is just at the end of the Roman Walk in town, next to the Post Office, and it's like my own little haven. They offer a variety of treatments, for the ones seeking a whole day of getting away as well as those with a busy schedule with 30-minute facials!
If you're nervous/doubtful, I'd say pop in and speak to one of the girls, it's not intimidating at all. The Cove offers such down-to-earth customer service and it will be tailor-made to you! I highly recommend the Dermalogica treatments, especially the peels, as they have been so effective and have no down time at all!
Keep a look out for my all-about-skin interview with Laura soon! 🤩 #ElyzaExperiences .
I've had a bit of a break from social media over the last couple of weeks.
My little lady turned 4 this weekend and we also had a wonderful family holiday to France, so in between massage bookings I was a bit distracted with party planning!
Am back to work and studying again now 💆 learning about the human body never gets boring.
The sun was just rising out of the early morning cloud bank as I found this lone tree, with a nice layer of mist in the background being lit up nicely with those golden tones. Kit Hill was a cool place to see the mists of Cornwall, with 360 degree views across picturesque spots like the Tamar Valley.
