Recently I read that dogs' eyes evolve to appeal to humans. Sometimes Aston’s eyes seems to be telling me something or demanding my attention, reportedly it could be evolution's way of manipulating my feelings. This article also says that dogs have acquired muscles around their eyes, which allow them to make expressions that particularly appeal to humans, they are more likely to use this "puppy eyes" expression when a human is looking at them suggesting that it is a deliberate behaviour and intended for human consumption. Aston has also a very 'expressive eyebrows’, this allows him to create the illusion of human-like communication. I really don’t know what to think about this information, but one thing is sure, Astons eyes change to rounder and bigger when he did something “wrong”. Like in this pic, at the friends’ house, he climbed on this bed when he knows is not allowed, but that’s not all, he first tried all the beds in the house and finally decided for this one... I’m sorry I can’t help it, with those eyes Aston always gets want he wants, might be call it manipulation?, honestly I don’t care .
I’m not begging for food, you’re begging for food!
I think Ella has accidentally been fed at the table a total of once or twice, but she still begs like a pro! Shows how effective positive reinforcement can be...
