A weekend in Review.
It was amazing weekend to see so many happy faces doing their thang at Comic Con. Fridays are definitely more my speed, in terms of crowd anxiety. I missed out on the Cowboy Bebop panel on Saturday. Overcapacity apparently. I was so stoked for it too. My homeboy, Usher, wouldn't even let me peek through. All good though. He was probably bummed he couldn't get in either. I'll find it online somewhere.
I ran into a familiar face @dvodaydreamer.designs. As it turns out, she's getting people to make "plant babies". Homegirl is grinding. Thank you for the purple dragon. To make a plant baby it requires three steps. 1) pick a pot. (Ha) 2) pick a succulent. (Yea 😉) 3) pick out an sticker expression. She got like 500 of weird emoji like expressions. Nothing unhealthy about that. 😜
Also, that Nate Diaz v. Showtime Pettis is an instant classic.
I checked out the Boston Public Market but more specifically @finallie_ferments. My folks had them over the night prior talking about food and all types of pickling. They're also crushing with their ferment products. My dad says, "It's too sour but it's good." We all had a laugh. My day is opinionated. What can a son do but to love him and laugh. My dad is an O.G. as he proclaims. Rightfully so. My dad's an O.G. Okay playa.
Donut thought - Today, I spent $4 on a raspberry donut at BPM. On Friday, I had a raspberry donut, a glaze, and a ginger pear fritter. Yea, I know, I like donuts or are they doughnuts? Anyways, hands down my fave spot to get donuts are from @kanes_donuts. Hands down the industry gold standard. Also, they're cool peoples.

: The diary of a young girl by Anne Frank
Genre- autobiography 👩🏻
Anne Frank is surprisingly strong & mature of her age, impressively intelligent and for her 13th birthday she received a diary. It is through the diary that Anne records her thoughts & daily life living behind a book case in secret annex. 👩🏻
You can’t read this journal & think it’s just an ordinary diary of a young girl, because it’s not! Anne’s diary is a representation of how other Jewish families lived & coped during the Nazi war. 👩🏻
It’s a wonderful read & at times too intense. She brings you into her world without any effort.
Must read! Because it is important and real!! 👩🏻
Need some Monday motivation to start the week off right? We’re giving away a box of six donuts to share! 🥳 Tag a friend in the comments you’d always split your last donut with to enter our give-away! We will announce two winners (one on Instagram, one on Facebook) on Tuesday (20th of August) at 10 in the morning in the comment section. Donuts need to be picked up at one of our shops in Berlin. ✨
Have you tried our Pineapple Rosemary cake doughnut yet? Caramelized pineapple and fresh rosemary in both the dough and the glaze combine for pure deliciousness. Get one soon though because once August is over, they will disappear until next year! 🍍🌿🍩💞 #doughnutplant#pineapplerosemarydoughnut#dpnyc25
