Who you are and what you do is far more important than what you have. May you fight to be whoever you want to be, and may you stand proud.
Hier sehen Sie: Liebe in konzentrierter Form ❤️

30 day challenge: Day 9: today I was inspired by my faith. I don’t talk about this much but I thought it might help some of you that might feel the same way. I suffer from deep depression and God is the only way I can make it through the day. One of the things I’m grateful for is He blessed me with this gift to help battle the depression I feel inside. Whenever I feel sad I always remember that He’s there with me and he created me for a special purpose. I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to find His purpose for me.
I’ve been painting so much lately that I’ve neglected my drawing skills. I made a goal for myself to wake up early and work on a small drawing each day for 30 days. Artist friends who’s in??? Just tag me in your posts so we can hold each other accountable. This is going to be fun!!! #30daychallenge#drawing#artist#krisschnitzler#passion#dowhatyoulove#positivevibesonly#krisschnitzler#blessed#gifted#shineyourlight#blessup#purpose#purposedrivenlife 🙏🙏🙏

My brand, the name of my business, a huge part of who I am. For those who didn’t know, my name is Madi Jordan. Hi. 😘 My full name is Madison Koji Nagao Jordan (I know, it’s a mouthful.) Ever since I was a little girl, my parents always called me MadiKo; a mash up between Madison and Koji, which I have always loved. (I love it when people give me nicknames. Mads is another favorite, but no one ever called me that. Except my crush in high school. 😂) Little did I know, this name would become so much more than just nickname my parents called me. 2012 musical theatre/choir Madi is shaking in her character shoes right now. Never in a million years did I think I could run my own business. That never even appealed to me as a kid. I liked the idea of showing up and having someone tell me what to do. Little did I know that person telling me what to do, that “boss” would be MYSELF. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
So, here’s my brand logo. MadiKoBeauty. Lots of exciting changes coming to this page. Except to see more beauty related things; fashion and ootd’s, make up, hair stuff and of course, everything lashes! 🖤
Shout out to my girl Emy (@emyddesign) for creating the most rad branding!

↠ MY FIRST DESTINATION PHOTO SESSION!
To begin this post, I would like to thank very muthe @maremarefeltster for her extreme confidence in my work and chose me to take her photos.
Yes, I have a client in another city, and that's just amazing for me. It is very gratifying to see this recognition after a lot of investment, a lot of hard work and a lot of positive thinking.
I don't know anyone in Santa Barbara, it was the first time I met @maremarefeltster and we connected incredibly.
After traditional questions for me to know her, I discovered a little more how we would do the photo session, everything became easy when we started to shooting, we exchanged ideas about styles and the rest flowed easily.
What I mean here today is that you never stop believing in the potential, despite being extremely cliche, you ( have ) to believe in yourself and that you are capable to do what you crave.
I couldn't even imagine that this girl who left Rio de Janeiro two years ago would be traveling to photograph.
Yes, it is constant and arduous work, but your willpower will take you to wonderful places and I believe it with all my faith.
This was just the beginning of a great dream that is slowly taking shape and growing. Now is to keep doing even better and to be able to take my work to several people in different states here in the US.
Creating joy with each’s one story is my purpose.

Three years ago I had a conversation with the farmer in this photo that changed the course of my entire business.
This farmer is Karl @greenparknuseriesinc , the second generation to head up his family’s 80+ acre farm in Niagara, where they grow branches and woody ornamentals for the cut flower market,
Three years ago, in a parking garage in Mississauga at 6am, we had a chat that lead me to more than quadruple my business in one year.
So what could we possibly have talked about that lead me to such growth?
1- Let go of your limiting mindset.
I was (maybe subconsciously) afraid to succeed. I was worried my success would upstage former employers that I respect.
Karl reminded me that I deserve to succeed, that there is room for EVERYONE to succeed and that my mindset was the only thing holding me back. He gave me ‘permission’, in a sense. Funny how we need that permission sometimes.
2-Collaboration over competition makes businesses stronger.
I was trying to do it ALL. Grow ALL the things, sell ALL the things and wear my busyness like a badge of honour. Karl reminded me that the best growers, the profitable growers who have been in this business for years, DON’T grow ALL the things. They streamline and grow fewer things, but better. I cut the varieties I was attempting to grow by 75%, connected with other growers who excelled at the crops I struggled with, and grew more of what I was able to produce beautifully. My crops improved, and so did my offerings for my customers.
3- Play the long game, not the comparison game.
Karl reminded me that we all start small. The business he runs that I admire? He’s had a one generation head start on building it.
So often we compare our first chapter to the middle of someone else’s story, without reading all of the pages that came first.
Can we all work on shaking that?
Let’s get busy writing OUR stories, not glancing at the pages of others.
I love this photo of Karl on his family’s farm, holding the fruits of an entire family’s labor.
This flower farming life has brought some pretty incredible people into my life, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to learn from the best in the business.
