The most epic sunset my eyeballs have ever witnessed, and to think that it almost never happened! •
Completely socked into clouds with zero visibility and slim chances of spotting Mt. Rainier, we decided to hike this trail anyway, just to stretch out our legs (after having driven across the entire state of Washington, stopping at multiple trailheads, only to return due to disappointing weather.)
Arriving at the summit, we were met with disappointed onlookers who had been waiting for hours to catch a glimpse of Rainier. We almost hiked back down when Rainier revealed herself, albeit briefly. Within seconds, the entire summit crew was howling and jumping up and down in excitement (it may have mostly been me, but I think I was loud enough for everyone). Minutes later, the clouds descended, and we were met with the most insane cloud inversion that I've ever witnessed. Rainier swimming over the clouds against a pastel sunset, with brand new friendships brewing at the summit, this one was one for the books!

happy chimkens 🐣 .
Visited our local free-range egg farm and I have never been happier to see all these hens roaming around.
One thing i love about road trip is tumbling upon hidden places. We found this secluded waterhole tucked away next to the river. It made for a perfect reststop.
Summer nights, love 'em how they take so long
FUN FACT: Laguna Beach was settled in the 1870s and officially founded in 1887, and in 1927 its current government was incorporated as a city. In 1944, the city adopted a council-manager form for its government. The city has remained relatively isolated from urban encroachment by its surrounding hills, limited highway access, and a dedicated greenbelt. The Laguna Beach coastline is protected by 5.88 miles (9.46 km) of state marine reserve and an additional 1.21 miles (1.95 km) of state conservation area.
That one time I went offroading with winter tires on 😁👍

🌳OUR WORLD NEEDS OUR HELP🌳
This week has been so heavy. In addition to my advocacy, this is something I can do to help... so you bet I’m gonna do it.
There are people and animals suffering and dying out there.
Giving up is not an option. We have a voice. We have privilege. Let’s use it! Link in bio.
Happy Friyay! Finally back from an amazing backcountry experience at Bon Echo provincial park. Absolutely loved our campsite, not only was it quietly nestled in the corner of Joe Perry lake, it also gave us dreamy scenery like this every morning. We even skipped breakfast just so we can venture out into the mist. Thank you ontarioparks for hooking us up with arguably the most scenic campsite in the park, site 523. Will be uploading more this weekend!
📸 @kylevollaers - About to board a flight to Australia and feel so grateful for the past 6 weeks I have spent in Sri Lanka. This country has such special spot in my heart and I can’t wait to share what I have captured with you. #earthoutdoors
