Back to my very first day of Copenhagen Fashion Week - here we are.
I am still digesting this playful energy that Copenhagen Fashion Week offers every time.
Contemporary Danish style with attitude is both cool and under its surface meaningful.
We must remember that Danish fashion brands deliver sparkling ideas and integrity while running on very limited, tiny budgets.
Here taste, creativity, positive energy and sustainable take on materials and production walk hand in hand. What's not to love!
And yes, sustainability is in our veins, hopefully inspiring others. And I fully support it.
My fashion week started with an opening show - by Boozt.
Boozt is an apt platform of many mainstream affordable brands. Its concept is great. They collaborate with the best creative capacity in the country, and they deliver.
What a vibrant, creative presentation.
WOW! Bravo Boozt!
With its impressive setup for 1000 guests, 3-parts of brilliantly styled show-manifesto, cool live music entertainment by the best artists delivered in between shows, and streetwear thrillingly set-together by @darlingcreativestudio
Well... I couldn't help thinking:
London Fashion Week goes home!
Attending also in the presentations of London Fashion Week I can objectively draw the difference.
While the UK has some very talented designers who are supported by huge budgets and investors, Denmark has sparkling ideas, and the energy money can't buy.
While London presents collections in a pragmatic, quite boring way (I ask why???), Copenhagen is offering our dreams, our remarkable philosophy proving that taste and great style is not about money.
But yes, having them wouldn't hurt.
Continuity of my reflections and the best of my moments from the Copenhagen Fashion Week will be back soon.
