I had a lovely walk through the orchards to the pub last night, with the intention of paying the campsite fees, having one drink and returning to the van. I ended up propping up the bar and making friends with one of the pub campsite guys. Today I've had a short walk (photos are on my camera so will follow later) and I am now back on my chair outside the van with a freshly brewed coffee, remembering how to relax!
Feeling dizzy at the top of the CN tower in Toronto!
Going up was a fantastic experience - but what made it really unique was the opportunity to eat at their revolving 360 restaurant! It was incredible to watch the view change as you ate - they had some very fancy menus and amazing desserts (though unfortunately no labelled vegan options as dessert and only one main and starter. There was one vegetarian main and starter - I don’t recommend the tortellini as they were very gluey). Still, having a meal at the tower more than pays for itself - where else can you dine in the clouds for $27 (going up costs $38)
