I don’t know where to begin... Thank you for always holding a space for me to be ‘ME’ & help me live life in my own way 👱🏻♀️. Making me feel perfectly normal, accepted & loved. Pushing me to stretch out my comfort zone & making me try new things... Thank u for meeting me half way, even though we pushed each other’s buttons... I love how our presence is loud enough to share a silence... And I love you for joining my crazy with no questions... Thank you for holding my hand in the hospital & taking me to the church even if it requires us to climb a long way... Laying next to me on the grass & stargaze with no words... Take me the parties because you know how much I love to dance... It’s that time of the year... Heavy hearted again, it feels like the whole world is weighing on my chest... Fear & worry crippling in my mind, why am I angry at all times? Deep down I know, I’m just frustrated... My mind is scattered, Where is this going?... Another dear friend moving out of the country, this city getting quiter one by one... Another Thanksgiving apart from my loved ones... Aren’t I supposed to be making my traditional ‘Thanksgiving Gratitude List’? This year I’m having a hard time to find reasons to be thankful about. Than I remembered; 5 years ago I was told due to health issues “Most likely I won’t be able to workout as I use to, dance or do yoga for the rest of my life” but look at me now 😍 Yes I’m far from my best, But Hey! ✋🏽 I take what I can get 😇🤗 So I rolled my mat, flowed smoothly; filled my cup, filled my heart one step at a time. I’m grateful to get to live another day. Happy thanksgiving guys! 🦃🍽🍁 Now I need to get back to my list and trim my Christmas tree 🎄
