A few days ago Juliette and i went to a pristine waterfall, (this photo is of Jess and I)
Gardners Falls, just inland from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia...
We walked along the flowing river and in reaching the waterfall barefoot, she instinctively chose to go in. Not only did she jump into the icy water, she jumped off the highest height (she found a trapeze type swing hanging off a tree and took that as her vehicle to plunge into that cold pool beneath...) i stood there smiling, watching, enjoying the warmth of the sun and the cool breeze. I was swept up in an emotion that came suddenly though... jealousy. Not of another human but out of anger of who i wish i could have been in that moment. I wish i could have plunged in and been that woman to jump - to say “fuck it” to do the hard thing that i know would feel fleeting and break me open. And it was also in that moment that i realized...
I GET TO WRITE MY STORY.
I also get to change the story i TELL myself!!
It is only myself who can place limitations on me.
In the end, i said to her, i had to go - i had to jump - and we held hands and plunged.
The best part wasn’t even that you helped me crack the shell, @ju_crm, it was when we resurfaced gasping for air, my body burning in that ice water, that you said
“Stay with it! Stay in it. This is so good for you!”
And it was in that moment where i found it all, where i uncovered something i had forgotten about who i am. My body was gasping. The slate wiped completely clean. In that moment in that water, there was nothing left. My fear of jumping lead to the fear of being exactly who i want to be - which lead to ALIGNING with that woman burried deep under some lies i forget i am feeding myself.
What are you making these fears mean about you?
They are not you.
YOU are on the other side of your fears.
Let today be the day you break that belief.

We made it to the top! 🤙 It has honestly been the best week (well, at least for me! the wife and kids have been good passengers haha) Spending quality time with and driving the family all the way to the top of Australia through the Old Tele Track was an incredible experience. It’s great to be able to show these kids what’s out there in this amazing country. Theo was even lucky enough to have his 5th birthday at the cape!!

Central Snowsports team rider @rowanlkaye slashing all this incredible fresh snow we have had @fallsaustralia over the last week! With almost everything open except one lift, it’s a great time to visit! 📸 @fallsaustralia
Lucky last batch of photos, day 5 and 6 combined. Kia Ora hut to lake St Clair, staying at Narcissus hut on the way. Well worth the week down, the last couple of nights I had the huts to myself which was an added bonus. Which hike next...? 🤔

We definitely didn't regret waking up at 4am to see this sunrise, such great light, it was the perfect start to the day 🌄
Especially as some clouds rolled in later in the morning creating a moody atmosphere which was still quite cool 🌤
If you want to see what a sunrise in a rugged volcanic landscape looks like, we have captured the moment with our drone in our last video 🎥

The Luxy squaring up to gunshot 😈😏 We’re back on the grid after doing some of my favourite 4wding to date. The Old Tele was so damn cool 👌🏾🇦🇺 -
Can’t wait to get the vids off the camera and share them with you guys 🤪
// Well... that was exciting! Unreal time spent with some awesome mates, on an epic adventure up the Tip of Australia! Ticked the Old Tele off the bucket list and drove away relatively unscathed along Capes gnarly corrugations! (Ignore the sway bar on the roof 😂) Anyways, trips not over yet, excited to show you guys some wicked moments! @overlandxexplorers

Tasmania is known for having the cleanest air and water in the world. As much as I appreciate their efforts to keep their environment clean, my absolute favourite thing about this place is the views. My goodness, it is by far one of the most beautiful places I've been. We've travelled a good chunk of it so far and there's everything from sandy beaches to snow capped mountains to rocky cliffs. Literally every single type of landscape possible and I am just so obsessed.

Have you ever had massive sand dunes all to yourself?
🎡 Wheel of Brisbane was one of the first attractions on our list. We just needed to decide when to go on it, during the day or in the late evening. As usual we went with a flow, visited few other places and finally at 7pm ended up here. At night its magical- trees are changing colour every minute or so, river is shining, music is playing somewhere, families enjoying a beautiful evening. And childhood memories of my favourite attraction of the theme park of my childhood are here. I forgot my real age and got excited like for the first time 🤷🏻♀️🤗 Its not the highest view of the city, but definitely a very special, romantic and unique experience 🎡 #thewheelofbrisbane

Watching a sunset at Kelly's Knob is said to be one of the best views in #Kununurra 👌 If you're planning an adventure to the Australian outback soon, make sure you put it on top of your bucket list!
Exploring Kings Creek on the Kings Canyon walk. We found a nice shady spot to sit and listen to the birds and soak up our surroundings. .
Airlie’s super cute pink organic romper from @our.joey was perfect for the trip, comfy for her and easy to layer for the cooler afternoons 💕
