Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam isn't as big as you might think but it's definitely gorgeous! You can spend hours wandering around it's beautiful gardens, especially when the weather is a perfect as it was the day we went. Make sure you book time slots for the palace and the new palace in advance for not being turned away at the door! Oh, and turn up early, there is a lot to explore!
The Berlin Cathedral, or Berlin Dom. It is the only cathedral, or church, I've seen which has a sign outside telling people that the fee to get inside is to fund desperately needed cleaning and restoration; stone isn't supposed to be black. 🙁 I guess the church tourism scene isn't as big in Germany as some other countries.
just going to interrupt my feed with some pictures my significant other made hiking the #rheinsteig first, all credits go to him for the gorgeous photos and letting me share them and second, the photos prove you don’t need to travel far for beautiful landscapes - wine-growing area, castles and the river somewhere between wiesbaden and koblenz #rheinsteigtrail

When bitcoin currency is converted from currency into cash, that interface has to remain under some regulatory safeguards. I think the fact that within the bitcoin universe an algorithm replaces the function of the government …[that] is actually pretty cool.
The root problem with conventional currency is all the trust that’s required to make it work. The central bank must be trusted not to debase the currency, but the history of fiat currencies is full of breaches of that trust. Banks must be trusted to hold our money and transfer it electronically, but they lend it out in waves of credit bubbles with barely a fraction in reserve. We have to trust them with our privacy, trust them not to let identity thieves drain our accounts.
Bad Neuenahr has its own Spielbank (casino) 🤑...and this bridge is called the Casinobrücke. Not sure if they're legal or not but there are a few betting parlours and casinos all over Germany 🎰 (in our hometown as well). Apparently, the largest one is in Dortmund. But the city with the most number of casinos is Berlin - no surprises there! 💰. Have you ever visited a casino while travelling? We want to hear your stories!
