And I’m back!😛Not that I went anywhere, but after my mom’s 3-week visit with us (13 May-4 June), I kind of got out of the habit of posting here and it actually felt great taking almost a 4-month break from posting (I still post daily in my Instastories), not feeling pressured to have to continually create content, etc. Sure, I lost a lot of followers in the process, but c’est la vie! I guess that’s the price I’m willing to pay for living consciously, engaging with people face to face, rather than through the screen, going to the beach, watching sunsets, instead of worrying which outfit to photograph next.🙄
I have originally set up this account last year to advertise my online vintage store which, due to a severe carpal tunnel on both of my hands, has been closed for awhile now, but will re-open soon, I promise. In the process, it has become a platform for my fashion musings, my occasional outfits, a way to share with you my love of vintage (which I breathe), print (hence my IG handle vintage prinTcess) & color.
I wore this killer 1970s Kamehameha (a vintage Hawaiian label) psychedelic caftan on 10 July when we went out to see our friends’ band playing at a local restaurant. It was the day before my hubby’s birthday (7/11), so we kinda got an early start on the B-day celebrations.
I found this magnificent hooded caftan, with the biggest kimono sleeves, on Etsy last summer, from a seller who doesn’t seem to have an IG presence. We had great weather that night - warm but low humidity (unheard of during the East Coast summers - it’s hot and 90% humid right now 🥵), so I paired this up with my pink/green hand painted boots. The accessories, as usual, are a work in progress (see the next two posts). To see the hood, please swipe left. Live in color!💗💚💗
