Today’s Saturday vibe after that monsoon of a rainstorm that we just received occurred at @pastabilitiesgso 🍝 I was going to get the manicotti (My taste buddy ended up ordering that) but my tastebuds was like “When’s the next time I am going to going to get a chance to try tomato basil fettuccine?” So good! Had a little spicy kick to it but it was not overbearing. All the flavors mixed together was super dope and I loved the roasted garlic olive oil sauce that it was mixed in 😋

Feeling like carbonara tonight but decided to change the recipe up a bit by adding chicken to this dish plus some leftover capsicum I had in the fridge. Bought some snowpeas at the grocery store today so added that to this dish as well. Decided to add the bacon as a garnish on top, finely chopped and panfried until crispy. It added the crunchiness to this dish plus provided the extra flavour to it.
Hemp heart and buckini crunch bars ✨🍫 🍫Recipe 👇🏻
- Loving earth chocolate (I used a mix of dark and mylk) - Pumpkin seeds - Bukinis - Slithered almonds - Hemp seeds for topping 🍫method 👇🏻
- Melt the chocolate in a heat proof bowl over boiling water.
- Once the chocolate is melted, remove from heat and add all the ingredients except for the hemp seeds.
- Place the chocolate mixture into a non-stick mould and sprinkle the hemp seeds on top! - Refrigerate until hard and cut up into small bite sized slices 👌🏻 ❤️Perfect for lunch box treats, the 3pm pick me up or a simple treat for the day! 🍫

Dilly Carrots: these are what I call a fill-yer-fridge kind of recipe meaning it’s good to always have them on hand.
These quick pickled organic carrots spend a few minutes in a pan of hot water & then get transferred to a jar w/ Coriander Seeds, Vinegar, Dill & topped off with the cooking liquid. Wait 3-4 days in the fridge & READY.
I used to shock them in cold water & I don’t even do that anymore.

Verdict: 👍🏻 Anything that’s sweet and chocolatey are usually too good for me to say no to. Stuffing it with more chocolate is a
major hit! The double chocolate Nutella is like indulging your soul with an extra chocolate packed with rich creamy hazelnut (but since I have a super high tolerance for sweets; was hoping to have more). Also, the other three cookies are far different from the usual since the combination that the baker used is unlike anything else. It might be a little doughy and crispy at first but after a few seconds, you will appreciate that the crunch from the nuts and sweetness from the chocolates are nothing short of perfect. I used to disregard (well hate) nuts but I learned that it is like a cherry on top of each cookie. Devoured these giants right in my big face - walnuts in my cookies never fail to make my heart dance! Overall, these are elephantine (yes it is extremely big; probably the biggest that I have encountered!!! And considering its price, it gives so much value on your money) cookies that your stomach will thank you for trying them! I am really hoping that is has more chocolates but I love how soft and jampacked with happiness it is. I also love that it is not that thick because considering its size, it will be too much for any cookie monster to handle; but it will be better if it wont fall apart easily. If you’re a dough kind of person – you will love these!!

Happy National Honey Bee Day! 🐝🍯Something you may or may not know about me is I have a passion for bees! My uncle has a few hives and he let me photograph the honey harvesting process last fall (almost time again this year!) and it was SO FUN! Bees are such fascinating little creatures and are incredibly vital to our food production on earth, along with all their fellow pollinators. Without them, much of our food wouldn’t get pollinated and grow!
