This is how life works. Some people leave and you wait for them to return. Some do return for that is a blessing. But some do not return and that's how 'destiny' is. Those who do not return become a permanent part of your soul. They live in your heart making it rich with the sweetest memories they gave in distant past. Though vivid, they arrive in expressions of million faces around you making you stare at some and smile at times when you look at some. The food you eat, the water you drink, the air you breath in, and the horizons you stare at, all of that contains in it the very essence of those who have left. Do not be sad for life still contains a meaning for you. For you still have those 'within you' who have left. For it still hurts but it is 'yours'. Own it.

The cords of passion and desire weave a binding net around you. Worldly confrontation makes you stiff and inflexible. The trap of duality is tenacious. Bound, rigid, and trapped, you cannot experience liberation.
Napoleon Bonaparte paraded through the middle arch way back in 1806 after winning the battle of Jena - then in 2019 I successfully rode through it on a @lime scooter...times have changed😂
But this gate is really just one of the most glamorous tax collection points ever built. I know, a bit of an anti-climax for such a grand structure.
But jheeez this place has seen some things over the years and survived the lot of it. From nepoleonic times through to WW2 and still standing today.
Do you think we should start making motorway tolls this grand again?😂 Also I know I haven’t been that active recently, things have been pretty hectic at the moment and there has been a lot of travelling, still got a lot to show you all from Berlin and Capri! Looking forward to sharing it!
