I've been taking the last few days to rest and recuperate.
It has taken time for me to allow my Self-♥️ to include solitude and rest on a selfish level.
But, I've loved myself into being completely at peace with
♥️a messy house,
♥️missed phone calls,
♥️leftovers of leftovers,
♥️and occupying my room in my fortress of snacks, movies, and naps while my family figures out their day.
Once I'm well-rested and rejuvenated, I get back into the swing of things.
And guess what? I don't feel bad about when things are a mess. I put myself First for real, because I know I cannot sustain anything if I'm worn out, tired, and frustrated.
I'm worthy when I'm prioritizing myself. In fact, my worthiness is BECAUSE I take care of Me.

Something in the black spoke to me. It said “go home, this place isn’t for you.” I immediately fell in love with the fear. The fear of the unknown, of being high on the walls, not knowing if you’ll make it to the top. It drew me in, and I found the peace I had been searching for, for so long. .
Pretty excited about the Komodo Dex... The promise of atomic swaps across chains using a Dex will revolutionize commerce..
The banking and finance sector is going to get shaken to it's core.
Crypto currency is the only thing that gives humanity hope of prosperity and free enterprise.. and the downfall of the corrupt banking/ financial system. -
When you look in the mirror, always look at yourself with love. Even if you have to fake it for a while, try to see yourself with positivity, after all you’re with yourself for life, there is no point not trying! 🌟💫
This week was a whirlwind!! The stress has been high and motivation low. 🥴
I work at a title company as a closing assistant in refinance and if you know anything about rates right now...they are LOWWWW. That means volume his HIGH and lots of hard work to getting files to the closing table. 🙌🏻
I am also in the final couple months before getting married and with trying to compile lists to get everything accomplished and organized before hand, there’s also a bit of stress involved. ❤️
We all deal with stressors in our life, whatever they may be. It’s how we deal with them that is KEY 🔑 .
I’ve identified the triggers this week. In my case, I cannot remove these triggers, but I can learn to handle them better. .
I’ve made lists, stepped away for short periods of time, and ultimately, recognized that it’s a part of life and the fact that I was able to recognize it and take a step back to deal with it has done WONDERS 🥰
Today, I’ve been able to check things off of my to-do list and just have a relaxing day!

There are all sorts of temporary types of happiness. Watching your favorite episode of the Office, winning a prize from a contest, beginning a new relationship.
The real challenge is finding SUSTAINABLE happiness - happiness you can access whenever you decide.
🤔Get curious about yourself!
Approach yourself without judgement - purely out of curiosity - what is one thing I'm good at? What is one thing I love doing? I feel great right now, let's see what it actually FEELS like to feel great! Awareness and curiosity about yourself can build you confidence, your joy, and your excitement that you get to be you.
💛Get some exercise.
Yoga, lifting, dancing, walking, swimming, running - move your body more often. Build your strength, reach different goals, see that you're capable of more than you thought. This can build amazinggggg happiness knowing that you're doing something good for yourself long-term AND seeing + feeling that you're changing.
👭Nurture your relationships.
Connect with people you love spending time with. Ask if your people need anything from you, ask for help from them, ask them on a date, do something you love to do together!
What do you do to access sustainable happiness?

You must protect your mental happiness by all means!! I don’t think a lot of people understand how important that is. This life is already crazy and full of obstacles....Never allow someone to damage your mental stability and make life even more difficult. It might be hard to cut some people off because of emotion but pray for strength and always remind yourself of the goal!! 📈🐐
Sometimes doing nothing, sitting in silence, eating your favourite food and saying kind things to yourself is exactly what you need to do to move forward
Stop resisting. Stop trying to be everything to everyone for fear that if you don’t you’ll fall to pieces or people will love you less
Sometimes you have to fall to pieces in order to shift things quicker and experience the most growth. Sometimes you have to retreat in order to reset
Give yourself time. Honour how you feel and allow yourself to drop the resistance
It’s ok.......just breathe 🧡

A Harvest Gathering for Women
Exploring Community, Healing, and Spirit
As we journey through life, we sometimes lose connection with a deep and important aspect of ourselves. This series of gatherings will speak to the healing journey for women and is an opportunity to connect with the richness of your own creativity and ability to deeply heal. We’ll tap into the amazing energy that is created when women gather in support of each other. We will give gratitude for the sun and its warming rays as we also welcome in the slower, intuitive and inward focused energy of autumn. Light and dark will be celebrated, as both are needed to nourish and grow the seeds that we plant.
Gather in circle with like-minded women and dive deep into the rhythms and energy of the season to: *Explore Harvest Queen archetypal energy
*Draw on a part of self that feels neglected
*Call on the abundance of the harvest
*Stir our stories in the cauldron of life
Together we'll journey through the season, exploring where we get separated from our true self. We’ll gather as a community near the new and full moons to unleash our inner creative being with authentic connection, soul journeying, and healing support. You can expect: *Community, laughter, and truth telling
*Planting seeds of intention through ceremony
*Nourishing parts of self through art & ritual creation
*Harvesting the abundance of the season with gratitude
Discover our yurt holiday and enjoy natural beauty and peace !
We also offer 1to1 or 2to1 yoga holiday. Feel free to contact us🦋
I am stunned to live on an island where you can swim in the ocean all year long but you still have different seasons to enjoy. See how grapes and figs mature in autumn, how the fig trees lose all their beautiful leaves and our stone terraces become covered in green in the "winter", how almond trees show off with their blossom and nisperos with their sweet fruits in spring, how, though the dry summer, endemic species surprise me with their colors.
And these variations are just some of the ones to be seen in our finca...on the island, there are even more variations like the snow on the Teide and the flamboyant blossoms on the coast... This island is a gem 😍
Commit to things you can be proud of.
Three plus years of yoga almost every day.
I won’t say I’m a yogi pretzel who’s super flexible...because I’m not.
I won’t say I completely submerge myself in yogi life...because I don’t.
But for that 30-60 minutes almost every day since 2016, I’ve been able to roll out my mat and just close out the world and commit to myself and my health...because I want to.
I will be healthy and active...because that is living life. 🧘🏻♀️❤️ ☀️
✨Anxiety disorders are the most common forms of mental illness here in the US–almost 1 in 5 adults struggles with them. And its getting more widespread–nearly 1 in 3 teens (ages 13-18) deals with them, too. But that's just when it's in the territory of diagnosis; when I ask my meditation classes who has felt anxious that day, usually everyone raises their hands (including me.) ✋🏽
My favorite quote ever is the Indian poet and philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti: "It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society." And like, we're in a state right now.
So to me, the question about anxiety is NOT: "why are you anxious?" (because, uhhhh duh) but becomes: "how can you work with your anxiety?"
This is all a HUGE part of why I wrote #effthisbook . I want it to be a handbook of practices that can be used to work with anxiety and other difficult emotions. The book has meditations, breathing practices, and many more hands-on ways to directly care for ourselves. And all of this is *without* blaming ourselves for feeling tough feelings.
Here's one of the practices from the book that is helpful for anxious moments:
_ 5-7-8 BREATHS _
•inhale to a count of 5
•hold to a count of 7
•exhale to a count of 8
•repeat five times.
No one even has to know you're doing it. You can do it in a meeting or in the car. If it feels good, you can let the counts become longer as you go. This practice reduces heart rate and helps ground us into our bodies. I do it a lot.
Remember: anxiety is not a character flaw. It means you're reacting to the world around you. And let me be sure to say it: meditation is NOT A CURE for anxiety, although can be truly helpful. And so can other things like medication, talk therapy, etc–whatever truly helps and supports.
Do you have other small practices that help with anxiety in the moment? Please share!
ps. #effthisbook is on presale now and I would love it you would order it! :)
