Had a delicious “Grandma Ruffa” pie from Caliente in Bloomfield yesterday. Olive oil covered dough with mozzarella, provolone, fresh tomato sauce, ricotta, fresh basil, and Parmigiano-Reggiano really does come together for something quite delicious. I will go on record as saying it’s probably the best pizza crust I’ve ever had. In fact, Caliente has received numerous awards for their pizza. (Check out their website for a full listing) They’ve got a bunch of other stuff on the menu as well like wings, hoagies, and calzones. Take advantage of their frequently rotating tap list too. There are a number of locations you can visit including, Aspinwall, Monroeville, Hampton, Mt. Lebanon, and Bloomfield.

These surely didn’t disappoint with its broth of tomatoes, fennel, garlic, olive oil and white wine from @rizzutosristorante in West Hartford’s Blue Back Square. My one wish was for more bread to soak up all the deliciousness which they delivered from reading my mind. •

Happy Sunday 🌸 Today I’m sharing with a super quick & easy recipe exclusively on here and not on my blog! These are my favourite Raspberry & Vanilla Energy Truffles using freeze-dried raspberry powder via @liciouslio 😍💚 You will need 1 cup of cashews, 1/4 cup of cashew butter, 2 tbsp of coconut oil, 4 dates, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, & 1/4 cup freeze dried raspberry powder. Place all ingredients in the food processor, roll into balls and leave in the fridge to harden! Serve & enjoy ♥️
