The you that got you where you are RATHER GOOD OR BAD.... WAS a direct reflection of your daily habits, surroundings, n current environment
Lot of times it's the people u surround yourself with
Lot of times it's your daily habits (which stems from people around you and your environment)
The friends we made in 1st grade (day 1s)
The friends we made cuz we were next door neighbors
The friends we made cuz we work together
May not be the same friends you need to make it to the next level
And you're just a victim of circumstances
It's a reason when people get rich, decide to do better, become distant, change their habits ...people say "you've changed"
First you have. CONGRATS!
ITS necessary to get to that next level
Think like this if you had the necessary network, hustle, mindset and habits to achieve your wildest dreams you'd already be wherever you're trying to go... Before changing !
So keep in mind to get to the level u desire u have to surround yourself with people who desire what u want out of life, and have the habits you need to get what u want... Otherwise b ready for small minded responses to your ideas to change n better yourself
Be prepared for people to tell you its crazy to dream that big
Or just give u empty responses back like "how's your little business" or "u should get a job" or "that's not possible "
Not becuz it's not possible but becuz they can't so, you can't !
There's a reason people say your networtk is your networth... Becuz the people u surround yourself with is a direct reflection of your day to day activities n a good prediction of what u will become, your access to valuable information or the one thing that could truly transform who you will become in the next 6 months to a year... U can't outwork environment but u can make a choice to better your environment .. ...change your habits and ...make friends who are directly in line with the goals you want to achieve and a direct correlation with what u desire in life... If u plan to make a change to finally achieve those lifelong goals comment " 💯" below

I talk about my life mantra on here a decent amount.
because, in every moment, it is. it’s perfect when things are great. it’s perfect when things are still. it’s perfect even when you don’t “get it”. even when it’s hard. it’s perfect. it’s exactly what needs to happen.
(shoutout @betterbymichelle here, too - this came through in a reiki session she did on me once, and it’s stuck ever since)
"Stay Close to Anything that Makes You Glad You're Alive." This quote by Persian Poet, Hafiz says it all to me.
Hand's down, my dogs Coco and Skylar kept me moving forward in good times and during really tough times. I knew they were "good" for me and I took extremely good care of them as they did of me.
When I reflect on my past, I can pinpoint certain people and places that I'm glad are not in my life today.
It's extremely important to note that I am at a place in my life where I am grateful to have had these experiences with these people of my past because I’ve learned many valuable lessons. These experiences have made me the person I am today and I'm happy.
I am one that truly believes that everything happens for a reason. I don't condemn my past and the people that I met. I sincerely hope they are doing well in their lives. I'm just happy that I've learned "how" to move on. And, because of this, I'm meeting some amazingly cool individuals that I just love to spend time with whenever possible.
It takes some inner work and I was and am willing to learn more about life and about myself each day.
I've also learned to truly love myself as "all" of me.
Today, I don't unconsciously "look" to others to fulfill something inside me that is my responsibility in the first place.
This video shows Coco and Skylar in motion (right after I took the photo of Coco in my previous Instagram post). I had as much fun as they always had at the beach in Malibu.
Coco was more at home in the water than Skylar and ALWAYS wanted to swim with the dolphins a bit out further. Of course, I was ready to jump in at any moment just in case a wave did decide to carry her. Coco never faltered.
However, here, Skylar (my white Aussie-mix) is barking at me because she wants to go out with Coco but is afraid.
From having her for 17 years, I recognize her barking is to get Coco's attention so Coco will come out of the water. Skylar did this quite often, but Coco knew what she wanted and if she ever did come out of the water, Coco did this on Coco's time.
It takes most of us a while to "know who we truly are". Some, a lifetime and many, maybe never because internal “fear “keeps them stuck.
Experience and time are friendly to us when we decide to grow and move forward with our lives. So, many of us at times (me included), get caught up in the guilt or remorse that we "should" have done that or this much differently and now, "it's just too late". It’s not.
You have today. You have now. Decide to make new decisions. Seek those people who have been there, done that and see what they did to change their lives into more prosperous and productive ones. Do it now. Google, Youtube, watch a documentary, read an autobiography. Don't hide behind an excuse.
Ellen Degeneres gave an inspiring speech at Tulane University. She gave us a glimpse of her tragic past. If she had listened to her fears and stayed emotionally there, we wouldn't know Ellen Degeneres today.
