The customers’ requirements for this new build was to design a veranda that would blend in with the fibre board cladding, property and keep the wind that whistled down between the buildings from stopping them sitting outside. We used the very successful and elegant simplicity 6 system with square posts and gallows brackets in pastel blue. The side panel gave the protection wanted and they were over the moon with the end result. Proper job.
Mr & Mrs L. required a carport that was in keeping with the property and matched their windows and doors. They decided on our commercial Simplicity 35 carport due to its projection of 5.5m and that it can be used to walk on to escape a fire. We incorporated full LED strip lighting to the front facing in and added Victorian posts with ornate gallows brackets to finish the desired look. They are highly delighted with the end result.
We are currently running a limited time promotion for the standard sizes.
Standard models are available in stock and can be shipped within 2-3 business days. Hurry up to request your quote with discount!

Wanna see what our kitchen looked like before the renovation? Swipe left to have a look 😱 We moved into this house in Feb 2015 and started the kitchen renovation in Jan 2017, so for almost two years we made do with a tiny kitchen with very limited lighting (the lights slowly died on us), only 2 small cupboards for our food, hardly any counter space and a tap that dripped constantly (no one could fix it, although plenty of people tried). We did paint the cupboards to try to brighten things up but I think we were onto a losing battle 😂. We lived here through the renovations so that was then 6 months with no kitchen at all, just a slow cooker and a microwave in the attic, washing up on the bathroom sink! Can you imagine how excited I was when it was finally done? Mr E and I both love to cook, so after 2.5 years without a proper kitchen we were in our element. Still are really. I feel so lucky to have this. Anyone embarking on a renovation or saving up for a house, keep your eyes on the prize, it will all be worth it in the end 😄👏 .
If you fancy joining me for dinner in our lovely new kitchen, I am hosting a charity supper club on 28 June and would love to have you. It is in aid of @chefsinschools_uk and I have @grapeandnectar coming along with some delicious wines which they will tell us all about. I can’t wait! Tickets are £65 with £50 going to the charity and there will be goody bags with some lovely treats. It is going to be fun 🎉🎉🎉

It doesn’t matter how energised I feel or what plans I have for the evening, once I’ve fed, bathed and put two children to bed by myself I am fit for nothing but a lie down and an insta scroll For at least 30 minutes. Anyone with me? Or am I just getting old?

Imagine lying under the stars and staring at the bewitching Northern Lights and a gazillion twinkling stars. Now imagine you’re doing this from your own bed inside a glass igloo in Finland. Sound cool? It is! I mean, if you’re looking for one of the most unique and special experiences of your life, then you can’t go past @kakslauttanen_arctic_resort.
These beautiful igloos have everything you need to stay warm and comfy. No slumming it here! The resort is a kind of village, complete with an amazing sauna (you have to try it), Santa’s Festival Hall (imagine the look on the kids’ faces - priceless), and two truly incredible restaurants. They really have thought of everything. Forgot your rubber boots? Raincoat? No problem. They’ve got you covered.
But you don’t need to confine yourself to this resort during your stay because there is so much to see and do. Why don’t you go for a 🛷 ride, go on a reindeer or husky safari, try ice fishing (!), go for a ski, or throw snowballs at each other! Seriously, this is a fantastic place to visit for both couples (you can get married here 😮💙) and families alike. I know where I’m going next year. What about you? Love, Blondie. 😘

Watching the aurora dancing across the sky from the comfort our hotel room. One of the most breathtaking and surreal experiences I have ever had 💙

My fat fingers just posted this without a caption, so maybe that’s a sign to keep it short 😂 Hope you’ve all had a fabulous day. Mine has been another day of tidying, sorting and organising and to be honest I feel like I’m getting nowhere. The sense of overwhelm is real 🤯. I did however listen to some fabulous podcast episodes that I would recommend whilst in sorting mode. 1. How to Fail with @elizabday - the episode with Mo Gowdat is brilliant. Also loved the Vicky McClure one. 2. On the same theme CTL ALT DLT with @emmagannonuk interviewing @elizabday, great episode. 3. Table Manners with @jessieware her mum and Kiefer Sutherland. I do love a podcast and am missing the High Low. What else should be on my playlist?
