I did a 𝖈𝖔𝖚𝖕𝖑𝖊'𝖘 𝖘𝖍𝖔𝖔𝖙 yesterday here in Granada!
We shot a little in our 𝖍𝖔𝖘𝖙𝖊𝖑 (say whaaaatttt) and a little on the street. .
Give it up for Tim + Jena, who trusted a couple raggedy looking hostel girls with mini compact cameras asking to take their photo. 😂
I’m so happy to have the ability to give them (and hopefully more people) a 𝖙𝖗𝖆𝖛𝖊𝖑 𝖘𝖔𝖚𝖛𝖎𝖓𝖎𝖗 via photography.
It was also great to put my new travel camera - the #RicohGR2 - to the test. I definitely found a few of it’s “weak points” and was pleasantly surprised with some strengths as well. Not bad for a palm-sized compact camera!
I’ll be posting this shoot to my blog 𝖘𝖔𝖔𝖓.
The #pride celebrations were amazing, thank you for everyone who shared the love and helped us and @absolutvodka to raise money for @rainbowrailroad !
Seeing you guys during the last 2 weeks celebrating all the love was beautiful 💕
📌Congratulations on running the Half marathon successfully last Sunday at CentralWorld. It is an amazing accomplishment, we hope you're happy with your medal. 🏅 #supersportsbangkokhalfmarathon2019 🏃♂️ Thank you so much for staying with us! 😊
Hotel Then & Now.✨
2 years ago we bought and renovated our property.🏡
I spent the summer with 3 contractors👷♂️ and over 20 guys 🛠️ working at my place while I lived on the 3rd floor above the chaos of construction. My room was sketchy and the last to be worked on but I had AC.🤷♀️ Week by week I saw my ideas materialize and slowly become my hotel.
👷♀️ Since then, we are continuously building on my vision and Drift Inn's vibe. This month we added street art to the street entrance🎨 and my MVP, Eldon, is working on my front desk with reclaimed and drift wood.🛎️ So excited to continue working on my dream hotel and welcome guests.
Have you ever feel that you meet someone and only after few seconds you realize that there is some kind of connection and you want to spend more time with that person?
This happened to me with Daisy. I met her in one of my volunteer shifts at @overstay_jaffa_hostel in Israel, almost midnight, me at the counter falling sleep, she the most smiling backpacker. After talking and laughing a bit, she asked the magic question: “do you know if the hostel is accepting more volunteers? I have never done it but I am curious about having the experience” I didn’t know if they were accepting volunteers, but I said yes and that I was going to convince the boss the next day😁. At this point I already imagined Daisy as roommate and travel buddy for small trips during our days off. And it happened exactly like that, three weeks of preparing pizza night, of going to Carmel market for free food, of exploring Palestine and learning about the situation by ourselves, of getting soak in the rain, of making burritos with towels and of playing that we were sisters just because people used to assume it and because we liked it that way.
Thank you little sis for have given that lovely touch to my adventure, I loved your company and I am super curious to know where this world will cross our paths again.💓 @parti9 °°°°′°°°°°°°°°°°°
