With utmost certainty, this Icelandic geyser belches and erupts every 5 to 8 minutes with it's muted and tamed fury. It's as if to show us a mini sample of the kind of eruptions mother nature is capable of.

Here’s what Adeline learned about #climatechange with us on Langjokull this week🇮🇸❄️💙: " #intotheglacier we went, which is bigger than Singapore. Scary to know that due to global warming, in 50-60 years time, this glacier might be gone and thus, cutting a major water source for the region. #rethinkconsumption#iceland " ⠀

I just imagine how fresh the air must be and how open and alive this must feel to be here. Anyone else just mentally plan a trip to Iceland?? 🇮🇸 -

🇮🇸|A panoramic shot of the magnificent Reykjavik; Europe’s most northern capital. Did you know that Icelanders have a dating app which gives them an alert if their romantic interest is, in fact, their cousin? 😮 In a country of 338,000 people, there is a real danger of getting romantically involved with someone you meet, only to find out that you’re related.. 👀
Food makes travel so exceptional, because you get to taste what it's actually supposed to taste like. To eat the real Pad Thai or finally have a proper curry is something pretty amazing. — Meghan Markle

The never ending quest for landscape glory starts and ends with a favorable weather forecast. It doesn't always have to be bright reds, oranges, and yellows blasting through the horizon, rather the right setting of mood which compliments the artist’s vision, whether it be the light, overcast skies, monochrome, or dark moody images.
This is so true in Iceland where the weather can, and does change in an instant. Early this evening it was raining; in the morning it was partly sunny. A little later, it started raining again, and then we got pelted with hail. It's all part of the adventure here in Iceland. We even saw several beards if reindeers.......this is what we do!
