Guys. The Goat Farm is closing, and I’m so sad. The last few months there working within a creative community and running into fellow painters have been some of the best of my life. I’ve exhausted my search for a new studio on my own, and I’d really love your help. I’m looking for a place fairly close to Garden Hills (where I live). I want to be close to my kids. It needs to be safe and private. I need a lock on the door with my own key. I need natural light, electricity (enough to plug in a mini fridge and a microwave), WiFi, heat, AC and access to a bathroom. I need the ability to get paint on the floor, hang things on the wall, and play music and murder podcast, although I’d consider ear buds. I’d love to rent an unfinished basement or a carriage house. If you own a rental property that needs to be rehabbed, that could work as well. I’d prefer to have access to some outdoor area so I can photograph pieces in natural light, so a first or second floor is preferable. I also need parking for two cars. If you can think of anything PLEASE let me know!!! ❤️❤️❤️

This past week I've been focused on submitting pieces to the latest Minted x Pottery Barn Kids/Teen Art Challenge. The competition is fierce but it's an incredible opportunity so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed!
Here are a few of my favorite submissions. What do you look for when selecting art for kids rooms?
Today is National senior citizen day!
What a great day to say 👋 to your grandparents! “In 1988, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed this holiday to raise awareness about issues that affect senior citizens and their quality of life.” Source: Nationaltoday .com
What you also can do, is pick a small gift of art and present it to your elderly member of the family. It will remind them of you for the resin if the days. .

Hypnos (2019) "In Greek mythology, Hypnos is the god associated with sleep. His mother was Nyx (night) and his father was Erebus (darkness). Hypnos and his twin brother, Thanatos (death), lived in the underworld (Hades)in caves that were located next to each other. The caves received no sunlight or moonlight and were completely silent.
Hypnos is said to be a calm and gentle god who helps mortal humans in their time of need. Because he is the god of sleep, he owns half of every human life.
The river Lethe (forgetfulness) flows from Hypnos’ cave. His cave is also where day and night meet." https://greekgodsandgoddesses.net/gods/hypnos/
