if I ever told you about my time at the astroworld festival then you know why i’m excited about travis scott announcing visuals from that tour.haha wanted to use this photo in a book, but never found the kid to ask his permission. 🤷🏾♂️ film: fujifilm400
This was a lighting test using a small portable LED panel checked out from the school I work for. Even at lowest intensity it was plenty bright! My next test will be using slide film and the light set to daylight temperatures. BTW, the focus is off because Kyle shifted a bit (DoF at 300mm f/5.6 is very shallow - a little movement will throw focus easily). I should get a head support for portraiture! Overall, I consider the test a success. @intrepidcamera 8x10 Mk II, Kodak Tri-X Pan ISO 320.
Did you know here at photo60 we also process 120 film? Also commonly referred to as medium format, the detail you get with a 120 negative far surpasses that of a digital file! Here is a nice example by @holesnfences ! Check out our website for pricing for film processing and pro scanning service.
Just found out a tree fell onto my childhood home last night during a rain storm, just missing my mother's room where she was in bed. She is okay. The house has a hole in the roof, but it didn't go through our entire house. Literally in tears because the universe is so miraculous. I don't know how it's possible but I am grateful everyone is safe and alive. Grateful that more damage wasn't done. Grateful that all the water only seeped into my old highschool sports clothes and bags, making it easy to take care of.
I feel like if I was to tell a story of everything that has taken place throughout time in my life, no one would believe it. I guess this is another one for the books.
Again.. stop taking those in your life for granted. Tell people you love them. Hug them longer. Don't let others opinions get you to make decisions that might leave a gaping hole in your soul.
With that being said, I love you all.
Hold your loved ones close for as long as possible.
