Not long ago, this coaching opportunity came up! I signed up without a doubt and then suddenly the fear and regrets kicked in after less than a month! The excuses all came pouring down like an unwanted downpour of rain! I don’t have time, I can’t afford it, I’m not in the best shape at all for it, what will people think, what if people think it’s a scam, what if I fail?
Then I realised that these excuses were fears because of how my brain (and many of our brains) are wired!
I realised that these excuses were exactly the reason I NEEDED this so badly! To step outside my comfort zone and to do something a little unconventional but life-changing! For ME but also for OTHERS! It was time to work on my financial freedom and freedom from life’s shackles!
I am a secondary school teacher by trade, but I’ve realised that more than anything I’m a positive person who likes to inspire and motivate people! I have always been the type to cheer others on and applaud them when they succeed! I have always given people the best advice to go for something they want to go for!
So now, it was time for me to practise what I preach!

“I don’t have enough time!” – How many things do you think we fail to start in life because we “think” we don’t have enough time? You know what I’ve realised, being a busy mum of 2 (the eldest being autistic and home-schooled for the last year and the other a 9 month old) – the best way to waste time is to just sit there and think and tell yourself that you don’t have time!
Solution? Just get started!
Whatever it is that needs starting – just start! Just do it!
Suddenly, you realise that 2 great things happen:
a) You actually start to prioritise the things which are important to you, and
b) If you don’t achieve your goal, it will still be there waiting for you to pick up and complete.
It might take you longer to complete and achieve, but in that process you actually start discovering potential, strength and commitment you never realised you had!

Have you ever felt silly, ashamed, unqualified or even afraid?
Today, I took action to be out of my comfort zone, yes again. I spent all day at a 12 hour conference to build my strengths and identify my weaknesses. I went to this conference alone, I felt a loud voice as I walked into the room say “why would you wear this...(side note, the details for the event said to wear workout clothes so I did and everyone had on regular clothes with cute shoes)”. I quickly felt out of place and then just as quickly quieted that negative loud voice so that I could be present to myself in this room and to the new relationships I would make. If I didn’t take immediate action on that negative voice, I wouldn’t have been able to experience the fullness of today because I would’ve been in my head battling myself instead of gaining everything I did.
Have you ever allowed your own negative self talk to keep you in your own thoughts instead of learning new things or building new relationships?
Taking action is not an easy task but it is a worthwhile task. I’ve grown every single time I’ve taken action. I looked silly today, I felt ashamed that I’m not further ahead, I felt unqualified when I first walked into the room and I felt afraid to speak when everyone’s attention was on me.
Taking action to grow is not easy but it is worth every moment of your inconvenience to fulfill your highest potential. Are you ready to take radical action in order to grow?
How many of you just own up to the mistakes you’ve made? Admit your vault? Correct the behavior? It takes a lot to own it, I know! But in order for things to work in our favor we must be the change first before anything else can change! Drop a “👊🏽” if you agree!

LOADED BREAKFAST HASH SKILLET with @mightysparkfood turkey & bacon blend, veggies, eggs, cheese, and 🥑🥑⠀
Have you tried my breakfast hash recipe yet? Its got all the veggies possible. Plus: low carb, keto, high protein, and the best way to clean out your fridge at the end of a week (the weekend is coming up folks!)⠀
For the protein I used some Mighty Spark turkey & bacon blend and some pepper jack cheese. For the veggies, instead of potatoes, I used rutabaga, then added some red bell pepper, garlic, jalapeños, onion, and fresh thyme + basil. Of course added some more fresh jalapeños and avocado on the top.⠀
The good thing about breakfast hash is you can use whatever you want. There are no rules - use your imagination and whatever you have on hand. If you’re not low carb, keep the potatoes!⠀
To make this particular one:⠀
1. I roughly diced up 2 large rutabagas and sautéed for 7-8 in 1 tbsp avocado oil, paprika, garlic powder, and some sea salt. I peel by rutabaga using a peeler.⠀
2. In the same skillet, then added 1 package of @mightysparkfood turkey and bacon blend and seasoned with some more paprika, cumin, and garlic powder. Not necessary. Then started breaking up the meat with a wooden spatula to make sure it was cooking evenly.⠀
3. After about 5 minutes, to the same skillet added 2 chopped cloves of garlic, 1/2 medium onion, and 1 red bell pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes.⠀
4. Then I created some pockets and cracked in 2 large eggs and added about 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese.⠀
5. Put in the oven at 350F until the egg whites had firmed up. This takes about 10-12 minutes for me. Removed, then added some sliced jalapeños, fresh herbs, and some sliced avocado. You can add anything else on top .⠀
Super easy, and super satisfying... what would you add?

EXERCISE 1: 🌺 Single Leg Press
This is heavy for me and was my last set so I got somewhere around 4-6 reps. Choose a moderate weight and go for 6 sets of 12-15 reps, make the last set heavy for 4-6 reps.

EXERCISE 2: 🌺 Standing Hamstring Curls
A lying or seated hamstring curl machine works as well, I prefer this one when I have access to it. Again last set, 4-6 reps; and 6 sets of 12-15 reps.

EXERCISE 3: 🌺 Seated Calf Raises
Seated or standing calf raise machine works. 6 sets of 8-10 reps with a slight pause at the top.

Spent 4 years chasing 315lb deadlifts & I’ve finally made it 🤩
It’s been a nonstop grind chasing this number.
There’s no other reason I work so hard other than that I want to prove it to myself that I can do it!
Also because I like to see the bar bend 🏋🏼♀️
I get a lot of messages saying I shouldn’t be lifting this much for many reasons ( you’ll regret it when you’re older, you’ll break your back, it’s a useless skill, you’ll get bulky etc)

I get a lot of judgement for liking non-girly things like lifting, tattoos, being an introvert & going the non traditional route for my career...
