Quick 5K to start my Sunday. I’ve kind of fallen behind in running the last week or two because spending most of my gym time focusing on weightlifting. Next week will be the last, most intense week of my six-week free weight program. After that, I want to get back on track with my running and prepare for a half marathon or two in the fall.

When I was 343lbs I would only dream of being under 200lbs. Today 08/18/2019 I am finally in ONDERLAND! I am offically 199lbs. ▪️
Hard work, blood, sweat, tears and vsg have said my life. I don't regret a single thing that has brought me to this point in my life. 29lbs to goal and honestly at this point I don't even care what the scale says anymore. I not only hit 199 but I also was able to get a size 12 in jeans which was my goal at the end of this. 😭😭

Yesterday, I completed my first half-marathon (21.1km)! Running is an excellent physical activity as all you need is a pair of shoes. Running will help build your leg muscles and bones.

Getting #healthier & younger each day as I get older is just part of my simple #goal I have in life. 💜 As a 26yo-self, I know exactly that I’m gettin’ older & my physical appearance has changed so much, but I have this kind of belief that #life is a series of decisions & I decide to love myself by doing more #workout & physical activities that my future-self will thank me for. 💖🤸🏻♀️
So yeah, the idea of preparing myself to join a #marathon this year is def NOT a bad one I suppose. 🏃🏻♀️ As #exercising has become part of my weekly needs, so doing more #run at the #jogging track is sumthin’ that I must stick myself on to.
More deep #stretch & better #warmup are just the basics. Daily consistency in practicing to do more #running itself is the key. Slowly but surely. 👟👟✨🔥
After all, I believe it’s the habit that I put in my daily #lifestyle that will shape me. To be a #marathonfinisher is indeed the main goal, but most important thing is how I enjoy the #journey to become #one . A lot of learning. A lot of practicing. 🌳🏃🏻♀️✨👟🤸🏻♀️
