Such a beautiful bank holiday... makes a change ☀️🌸 This is the view from the front of the house upstairs.. work is still underway, the roads need tarmacking and the pavements.. the children’s park has not been finished yet either... they said April 2019.. but there a little behind 🤔🤷🏼♀️ The grass has grown super quick tho! It got seeded a few weeks ago! Still some patches missing tho... 🤪😤 Bloor have been a little absent for some time so we’re all getting a little frustrated with unfinished results!
I've tried most of the transportations here except train.decided to get on a train to #narayanganji station which is about 1 hr from #kamalapur railstation(central station)
そういえば、まだ電車に乗っていなかったので、電車でgo! #中央駅 から #ナラヤンガンジ 駅まで1時間の旅
It’s that time! ⏰ Mom and I are just about to take off!! 🛫(She didn’t want me to take a pic of her and we aren’t sitting together, but I’ll snag one when we land with fam!😋)
Yesterday was full of errands and we literally didn’t get home til midnight! Eeek!!🥴😴
I’m so excited to see my grandma and the rest of the family who traveled from@diff countries! 😁
One of the biggest blessings with my job is the flexibility that I have to visit my grandma. We couldn’t afford to visit much at all growing up, so I take every opportunity to love on my grandma as much as I can now. 🙏🏽
I listed for the 𝐣𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐭 when I booked our flight. Typically this flight is full, and my company only flies to Antigua 🏝 once a week! But ya girl got lucky this morning and got a seat! 😁☺️😊
If you’re wondering why I’m in my uniform, I typically wear it when flying to Antigua because I receive better treatment. Other airport employees treat you with a lot of respect (being a flight attendant in the islands is considered a really good job) so I wear my uniform proud and love being greeted when I land with a smile! Also helps with TSA domestically and allows the gate agents to identify me in the boarding area. Most importantly if I do end up on the jump-seat I look professional. I’m free to change when I board if I want.
We’re almost ready to go! So I’ll check in with you all later! If there are ever any terms I don’t display at the bottom of a caption feel free to post in a comment!
Send safe travel or beach vibes our way with a ✈️ or 🏖!!!!

Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla were commissioned by Mark Shand to design an elephant for his elephant conservation charity initiative called 'Elephant Parade'. Displayed at Selfridges in London, it was a soulful and striking marvel of craftsmanship. Ghungroos surrounded the elephant's ankles and gilded dolls danced on the ornately embroidered fabric draped on its back.
Priti Paul purchased it at the auction and it resides at her palatial residence in Morocco.
Handkerchief 🤧. I carry my truth with me like a handkerchief, so it made a great metaphor for this topic: disclosure. Victims do not report their attacks for many reasons: confusion, memory, delayed discovery, shame, guilt, fear, rejection, avoidance, anger, etc. Disclosure is more about trauma victims putting their mental health first, which includes learning to build trust and resilience into their life again, and that’s perfectly valid. Reminding survivors that they are responsible for their perpetrator’s freedom can make them feel guilty when they are fully aware of the consequences of not reporting, on top of a slew of other emotions they are already feeling. It is not the survivor’s responsibility to stop a perpetrator. If anything, it is society’s responsibility to shape a better world for survivors to feel comfortable enough to come forward. When victims speak, their power blossoms. Find listening ears. The pony who lashed out to everything because her voice had not been heard. The pony who I was convinced had kissing spines due to her explosive reaction to so much as standing at her side and touching her back.
No whips; no ropes; no halter; free to leave or say no at any point; positive reinforcement; she finally realises that she has choices, but that she'd like to stay because this is finally an enjoyable experience. Long way to go, but we've come a long way too.
By checking in with yourself and keeping constant tabs of where you are at you can be aware and then manage how you're tracking. No one wants you to burn out physically or mentally so be honest and do what you need to do to stay healthy. So many people care about you, please don't forget that xx
